HJCHJ-20M FG-17 IS-17 Helmet Shield Pinlock Shield (RST Mirror Blue)

During a recent Sunday morning ride, I put this shield to the test, and found I had to adjust my head angle when riding into the sun. Despite this, it's a nice upgrade to the look of my lid. I would upload the pic I took, but it's so darn reflective, you can see every detail of my surroundings.I liked it enough to order a second one for my husband's helmet a few months later.

I love this shield. I am on my second one. The one characteristic of this shield that I am not too fond of is that the mirror coating did not hold up to my winter gloves. Admittedly my winter gloves have a near sandpaper finish on the finger tips. Still, it made me sick to develop so many problems with the finish.But, being able to drive directly into the winter sun without being blinded or having the need to squint was priceless.

Have gone through 6 so far. Mirrored silver and blue are my favorite. Have switched over to dark smoke, have not looked back! So much better.

I keep this shield on 100% of the time and I do a lot of night riding home from work. It eliminates the blue light wavelength giving a crisp view at night (city riding @ night).

Love the shield. Blue color is great and no one can see in. Please note that it is tinted, in case you are driving at night.

Very impressed!Easy to replace, and looks great.Does not seem blue till you install it on the helmet.
