I tried the Seed Needs Catmint (catnip) seeds this season, planting about two dozen in a sunny spot in my backyard, and they took off beautifully within just a few weeks. The plants are lush, vibrant green, and have filled out nicely—I honestly wish I’d planted even more! What’s been amazing is how excited my cats get when I harvest a few leaves. They absolutely go wild rolling around and rubbing themselves on the fresh, fragrant greenery. It seems more potent than the dried stuff I usually buy, and I love knowing it’s fresh-grown right outside. I’ve since dried some to keep on my desk for the indoor kitty, and it holds a strong scent weeks later, too. One thing to note—catmint spreads easily, so you’ll want to give it some room or plant it in a container. It’s also pretty resilient; I didn’t water it constantly, but it still stayed green and healthy through warm days. Overall, these seeds were a hit—I’d recommend them to anyone who wants fresh catmint at home. Great value, easy to grow, and my cats can’t get enough!

I’m basing this only on germination rate. I was expecting 7-14 days, but I have 50+ already and it’s less than 4 days. I am starting them indoors, and I honestly wasn’t ready for them to germinate this quickly. I have a little indoor garage greenhouse that I had planned on moving them into on Saturday before they started to germinate. But, they’re so far ahead of the curve that I’m behind schedules Will they grow? They germinated. The way I look at it, the rest is 100% up to me. I definitely recommend these seeds.

The seeds were good but I never was able to grow anything. I think I just don't have a green thumb. I would definitely still buy this product again

I decided to create enchanting little kitty gardens, but my plants are taking their sweet time to flourish compared to the others. I chose both catnip and cat grass, and unfortunately, they’ve been slow to sprout and grow. While I’ve come to appreciate the need for patience in gardening, it’s a journey of discovery for sure. Although my own cat doesn’t seem particularly interested, my granddaughter’s cat finds them delightful. Plus, they emit a lovely fragrance that adds to the charm of the garden.
