The old school bell is the only type of alarm “alarming” enough to jolt me out of bed. I place it across the room, so i have to get up to turn it off.This particular one I love because it’s minimalistic and it makes NO TICKING NOISE! I record a lot in my bedroom and the old clock I had, i had to take out the batteries just to stop the ticking. Not with this one.--Update May 16, 2019--I woke up late to work twice this week because something inside the clock must have become loose or stopped working from the alarm bell vibrations. It no longer works the way it should. Very disappointed... I hate dealing with cheap products--Update December 30, 2019 --The company sent me a new one and recommended I only turn the dials the direction displayed on the back. I have followed that rule and have been using the clock for several months now, it works great!!

PASSIONATE, I tell you. I had a Sharp branded clock that was almost identical, except it was way less durable. And it ticked. So. Loudly. I could feel it in my BONES, man. Nearly lost my mind. So in comes this clock. It's two feet from my head and it's practically silent. I've dropped it twice into a carpet and it hasn't broken yet. It's always accurate. And by Jove, it wakes you up. I wear earplugs sometimes because of noisy neighbors at 12 am and birds outside at 6 am. It cuts right through. Keep in mind it's two feet from my head and I'm a light sleeper so YMMV. I use it with some Panasonic Eneloop AA batteries and bam. Convenient, low cost, reusable batteries forever. Love it. I've had it for 4 months now.

I love the clock, takes only 1 battery and made of sturdy material. It is non ticking which is an excellent feature. Nice big face and easy to read dials. Has alarm feature which can be adjusted for sound. Also has a back light feature which is handy. Nice retro look and black color. On the back has dials for time adjustment and alarm feature. Good price point. Highly recommended.

Works great for the price, and looks very nice. The materials appear to be good quality and it is well-constructed. I like the subdued, elegant design, and the lack of a huge annoying logo on the face.I was disappointed in a couple things, mainly that there is no control for volume. I have seen other alarm clocks that let you set the hammer travel distance, and I kind of expected this one to have it, but it doesn't. Also, the dial to set the time and the dial to set the alarm are the exact same shape, so unless you have memorized which one is on which side, you have to use trial and error, which is annoying considering that all they needed to do was make one dial bigger.

The alarms is great! It’s supper loud the only issues I find is that the little hands don’t fall exactly on top of the number it’s slightly off, also the alarm is a little back wards for example if I want the alarm to go off at 6:30pm I have to place the alarm hand behind the 6 instead of infront towards the 7. But now that I figured it out it’s no biggie. I’m not sure if that actually how it’s supposed to go the manual dead missing lol but point is ITS LOUD my daughters room is upstairs and I can hear it in the masters downstairs on the opposite side of the house lol

Thank you guys for this amazing clock, it's accurate, stylish, silence (no ticking) Which I really LOVE it for; probably I would have returned it if it was ticking I have a condition against sleeping in a room with a ticking clock, and most importantly it has a LOUD RING.Anyway I LOVE IT 5 STARS, I use the night light sometimes and it's nice extra feature.Thank you guys

This is a nice little clock. It works as a clock. As an alarm it is really clunky and not intuitive at all. Disappointed because I liked the look of it.

Love this clock, since the pandemic hit my son has been having trouble waking up with the digital cell phone alarms and he hits the snooze button a lot, but with bad boy the ringer is so loud that he actually gets up scared like if he woke up from a nightmare and can’t go back to sleep. Since I’ve been working even when the pandemic hit, it’s made my life a bit easier knowing my son gets up every morning.
