This is my favorite product to use in my foaming hand soap containers. It is more affordable than some of the other castile soap brands and it works wonderfully, providing a nice thick foam. I fill my bottles about 1/3 of the way with this liquid soap and the rest of the way with water. I feel less wasteful and I love that the ingredients are completely natural. It never dries out my hands, even in the Winter here in Arizona. Each bottle lasts us a while, so it's an economical, earth friendly, non-toxic solution for hand soap.

I LOVE this castile soap and I use it for many of my cleaning needs. It smells wonderful (lavender and lavandin essential oils) and the simple, natural ingredients are fantastic! I use it in foaming and regular hand soaps (mixed with hot water, and sometimes other essential oils or vegetable glycerin for extra moisturizing), and as dish washing soap in spray bottles (mixed with natural dish washing liquid and water). I also use it to clean out small stains from clothing. This castile soap can be slightly drying at times but it's not more drying than other soaps or other castile soaps. It washes skin, clothes and dishes just as well as anything else. It's so versatile and the scent is very relaxing. I highly recommend Dr. Woods for those who want to use more natural soaps with great ingredients! I prefer it to Dr. Bronner's, although both are good.

My family used to have cracked skin on the hands all the time, especially during the winter. Which can be very painful. We’ve been using this soap for the past 14 months and we’ve had zero issues. It’s been amazing. Even with all of the hand washing and sanitizing over the past year, this soap was able to keep our hands from cracking. It’s well worth the cost. And the smell is fine. Some people complained but it’s really ok.

Product has a nice clean smell without being overly fragrant. However, it does not lather up as well as the Black Soap, so you may use a little more than expected.

I love this soap which I use for my children at bath time. Not only is it relaxing, the soap is gentle on my sons skin who is endlessly itchy from eczema. I noticed something about Castile soap vs. regular soap. Castile soap rinses off so easily and quickly that it makes bathing little ones a breeze so they are rinsed off without much fuss. Regular soap suds up so much and requires repeated rinsing and usually tears. Something tells me that the extra suds are not a good thing and that the natural soap rinses quick and clean. I’ve switched to Castile soap from now on. I love this and recommend it to anyone.
