Paua shell has so many beautiful colours
Why did you choose this product over others?:I bought these Paua shell pieces because I bought a bangle in New Zealand and a few pieces of shell fell out and theses were just what I wanted to replace them they are perfect.

Gorgeous
These shell chips came out wonderfully when sealed in resin. That said, as other reviewers have mentioned, they do need to be washed because they’re very dusty and it’s difficult to see the colours and shine initially. If I have any complaint it’s that the bag also contained stone like pieces that were basically useless, and some bits that had no colour or shine to them. Regardless I consider them worth the money and will be buying again.

SMALL
I will have to look at written sizes more.

Smaller pieces than expected
I'm not sure if the shell was broken during transit or if they were sent this way . Can be used to make jewelry but much smaller than intended . Still very pretty though .

Very dull.
As I said , it was so dull and I had hoped I could add it to the abalone chips I had already. I should have sent it back straightaway but now that I’ve added them to my shiny abalone chips it’s too late.

Dirty, literally
These shell fragments were filthy. They don't look it especially, but when I popped them out onto some paper and then pt them back, the paper was very dusty. A quick wash and they actually looked a bit attractive. That said, I chose some uninspiring pieces (even after a wash) to test in a resin coaster, and the results were impressive. Just a shame that the raw material hasn't at least been washed.
