not reversible
The large red/black lines seem to be reversible, but use of any other wires and the plug is not reversible. That makes using this plug for anything but power almost useless.

5A for Raspberry Pi 5
The power wires appear to be 20awg as the product advertised, allowing for a full 5A, which the Raspberry Pi 5 seems to want. (Raspberry Pi OS on the Pi 5 warns if the power supply delivers less than 5A.) The data wires seem to be smaller: 22awg or maybe even 24awg but they don't need to carry so much current, so this is probably okay.

Awesome for power Pi's
I bought a bunch of these for powering my raspberry pi's from a dc power source and they work just like i had hoped.

Works great! Powering my AmpliFi-HD off 12v (with a step-down converter)
I needed a solution to power my AmpliFi-HD router in my RV using 12v. And coupled with a 12v step-down converter, using the red/black pair on this USB-C pigtail cable worked PERFECTLY!!! High quality and sturdy. Stays plugged in!

Does what I need - note number of wires
Works great to power my Portable router off my RV's 12v system with a high amperage buck converter.Note this is two wires though. My Samsung S22+ sees it as having something wrong with it. I'm guessing it has to do with how Type-C is wired. Be aware of your needs before buying.
