Arm & Hammer Plus OxiClean has been my favorite for years! It cleans my clothes thoroughly, removes tough stains, and keeps whites bright. I love that it’s gentle enough for everyday use but powerful enough for heavily soiled laundry. Smells fresh, works reliably, and is great value for the price. Definitely my go-to detergent!

My favorite detergent but box is way to small to justify subscription. Had to cancel subscription...sorry. I thought it would be larger....my fault. This detergent is great without smells...just fresh and clean smelling. Always cleans well. I still like the powder detergent the best. Excellent quality.

Arm & Hammer Plus OxiClean Powder Laundry Detergent works really well at getting clothes clean and bright. The fresh scent lasts without being overpowering, and it handles tough stains easily. A great choice if you want both powerful cleaning and a pleasant, long-lasting scent.

My washing machine is a standard top loader, not a high efficiency machine, and my rating is for use in this standard top loader. The manufacturer does not recommend this powder for use in an HE machine but does have an OxiClean, Fresh Scent liquid version I rated for use in HE washers. I had a subscription for this Arm & Hammer product through Amazon's Subscribe & Save. I like this and other Arm & Hammer detergents and recently started using the Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent Plus OxiClean Power Paks, Fresh Scent, 97 Count instead. At the time of this review the Powers Paks work out to 16¢ per load while this 42 load powder box, even with the subscribe and save discount applied, is 25¢ per load. The performance seems just as good to me between the two versions of this product although I prefer the fragrance of this powder. I'll stress that again - I really like the smell of this. However, I have discovered I prefer the convenience of the paks in that they put an end to cleaning up the stray powder that inevitably cascades out cardboard detergent boxes (such as this) when opened and the waste that comes from using too much powder with the provided scoop. I have uploaded some photos by way of illustration. My washer is what they consider a "regular" size so I would only fill to line 2 on the provided scoop. Look at my photo of line two and note how much additional volume is left over in the scoop. I have to really pay attention not to overfill if I am going to get the advertised number of loads out of this box. Filling to line two is about 3/4 cup. Filling to line three on the scoop is 1/4 cup so you can see how easy it would be to use twice the amount of recommended detergent per load an go through this box pretty quickly. I suppose this is true of any powder of liquid detergent and that the manufacturer's count on consumers using too much with each load. Again, that's why the Power Paks have become my favorite as they take out the guess work. I last ordered this in January of 2016 and paid $11.12. Shipping was free.

I have a small portable washer in my home that uses a very small amount of detergent per wash. Laundry pods are too much detergent and liquid is too messy. I tried this powered detergent because I have enjoyed other Arm & Hammer products in the past. I absolutely love the scent of this laundry detergent and the powder is much easier for my family to use. The detergent works well on our laundry and doesn’t irritate my child’s sensitive skin. I appreciate that the container is not plastic and easier to recycle. The container fits well in my bathroom on the laundry shelf.

Best detergent by far! My front load machines came with a packet of liquid Tide, but in reading the manual I found that it stated powder detergent extends the life of the machine and prevents that awful mildew build up issue many front load machine owners complain about. PROS: - long lasting freshness without and overpowering scent - gets stains out, including my husband’s auto mechanic grease and oil stains (I boost with Oxyclean odor blaster for the really gross smelly gear oil stains) - gentle on fabrics, tough on smells and stains - perfect for my sister with sensitive skin and skin allergies (she does fine with the gentle scenting so I don’t even have to buy unscented!) CONS: - I hate the box so I transfer to a container and just keep refilling the container - the included scoop is far too large for the amount of detergent needed in my HE machine so I toss that - like all powder detergents, it can be messy when transferring to a container or scooping - if stored in a damp location, detergent clumps and has to be loosened up to use after clumping
