Is this product good to use?

Very good. It is all i have used for the past 10 years.

Is this product really as good as advertised?

we used the powder for a long time, but when we switched to the liquid detergent my wife loves it more than the powder. plus the clothes smell way much cleaner and better after each wash of clothes.

How long can the product be used?

I do not believe there is an expiration date on this laundry soap. Keep it in a dry location until ready to use and it stays in its soft, powdered form for months. Have used for years. Very pleased.

The box is not labeled for High Efficiency use. The box IS labeled "Commercial," which is clearly visible on Amazon's picture, just left of the "130" loads placard. The net weight is 10.0 lbs. The "efficiency" of the Commercial grade is therefore 130 loads/10 lbs = 13 loads per lb. Other boxes of Arm & Hammer Oxi Clean detergent that I have purchased in-store from Walmart that are NOT labeled as "Commercial" are labeled as, "For all machines, including HE." The "efficiency" of one of these boxes is 155 loads/9.56 lbs = 16.2 loads per lb. Both grades of detergent are labeled as containing less than .5% phosphorous by weight, biodegradable and safe for septic systems. Whichever grade of Arm & Hammer you purchase, you won't be disappointed. I've been using it for over 50 years and have never found another brand that does the job so well without charging you an arm & leg for the privilege. Furthermore, I don't think any of the so-called "HE" washing machines touted nowadays do a very good job of cleaning clothes. Do some research on the internet and you will find that the few brands of machines still available with an agitator outperform the "HE" machines hands down. Ladies, vote with your pocketbooks next time you go to buy a washing machine. Look for a machine with an agitator and with controls that allow YOU, rather than some mindless computer chip, to pick the water level, temperature and whether or not you can start or stop anywhere within a chosen cycle. How "efficient" is a washing machine when you have to wash a load more than one time to get your clothes clean?

Arm and Hammer --- what's to say??

Been using A&H for many years .... never had any allergic issues ... gets clothing really clean (always use Shout on the really bad spots!) ... all comes out very clean. CAVEAT!! Three boxes of this stuff ... would be considered (IMHO) truly heavy!! Older folks (like me) might consider having helper along to deal with sheer weight!!

Arm & hammer Laundry Detergent.

Had not used this brand before. I tried it because I could not find the detergent I had been using. I am glad I tried it because--I really like it better than the brand I had been using!!! Aroma is very good and cleans great. I will continue using this from now on!!!

Not Labeled as HE Detergent BUT IT IS HE!

I recently purchased this and felt it was a great value. However, when I received it I noticed that there is no indication on the box that it is safe for my HE Machine.FOLLOW UP:I reached out to the commercial and professional division of Arm and Hammer and was informed that :"Arm & Hammer Powder Laundry Detergent plus OxiClean is safe for use in all machines, including HE."

Leaves clothes smelling wonderful and don’t have to recycle plastic jug.

I run a doggy daycare and I am doing loads of doggy diapers every day. Was wanting to get rid of recycling plastic jugs. This leaves diapers and my clothes smelling fresh! Use it in any washing machine! It works great!
