It’s always a good sign when you lose track of time when building a set!I was really impressed with this set. I liked the idea of the windmill that moved and was a music box too, but was skeptical that it would be good as it was less than £30.The finished model is very good quality and feels sturdy too. The pieces are slightly smaller than Lego so I was concerned that the quality may be worse too. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality is as good and the pieces fit together well.The instructions are slightly more complicated as there are often lots of stages to do in one step. However, I found that by finding all the pieces needed first and working logically through it was okay. I think a child may need adult help though. What I did like is that some sections were detailed and printed actual size (see photo with red circle). This helps get the pieces in the perfect position so that the mechanism can work. Although I did check regularly to make sure the cogs lined up and the pieces moved.A separator tool is included in the box, which is a nice touch for a cheap set. In addition there are additional pieces left over at the end of the build.I would suggest that the set takes around 4 hours to build.Overall I am delighted with the build!I hope you enjoy building it as much as I did!

The media could not be loaded. Lovely piece to work on although rather fiddly at times but it turned out well in the end. Instructions easy enough to follow. Lots of spares too as if your anything like me you will lose a few.Very pleased with the finished result

I bought this for my mum for Christmas because I know she loves to have an activity to do on Christmas Day. She absolutely loved it and has said the quality is very good. I was a bit nervous that the quality wouldn’t be that great but it was fabulous. It was well packaged and arrived within the delivery time stated. It even comes with a little tool to remove the pieces without hurting your hands. I would definitely buy one of these again! I may even get one for myself.

Bought this as a present. Pieces are very small and the instructions are not particularly clear. Ended up having to request extra pieces as they were missing.

Looks lovely when built but annoying to “trouble” shoot when the mechanism doesn’t spin the windmill

Read some reviews saying missing parts - nothing missing from mine. Loved making it, all went together well and looks great.
