The flag is excellent quality; embroidered on both sides, made with sturdy material, and metal eyelet. The plastic part that fits into the chamber (chamber insert) is made of a material that is hard enough to withstand repeated insertions, without the risk of small particles flaking off into the chamber. The shape of the chamber insert is such that it does fit into a 22LR bolt action. However, when used with a Vudoo V22 or Bergara B14R it easily falls out when the rifle barrel is pointed up, as when carrying between shooting benches, or placed in a gun stand. My solution was to design, and 3D print my own chamber insert. The flag itself is of such quality that I am still happy with having purchased this ECI.

You can easily see the status of a firearm from a distance when this is used. I am an armorer for film and television, and have used them on multiple sets. I highly recommend them.

Item was as described, very nice for my purposes. This is a hard flag and I do not think it can hold up to letting the slide/bolt slam forward. That being said, it should last a lifetime. The key ring is from the hall of the mountain king -STRONG as it can be. Tags are beautifully embroiled on both sides. So, in conclusion - "What's not to like?"

Excellent visibility to show safe chamber for the range and firing line

The tags are very well made, especially the embroidered label. However, I believe these flags are primarily designed for AR-style rifles. With other rifles, like an SKS, they tend to pop out unless you close the bolt to keep the flag in place.
