Don't buy the 3500 I know of 3 that have the same problem
This is the worst generator we have purchased. We bought it at a store in Pine City Mn. It only ran good for 1day been in shop for 3rd time in less than 2 years. They won't stand behind the warranty, which ours is 5 years.

Great generator that holds gas for a long time
Got us through a couple hurricanes and we've had no issues with it.
