Plastic Graduated Cylinder Flask Set - 100ml Science Test Tube Beakers, 2-Sided Measuring Lines - Printed and Molded Graduations (Pack of 2)

I originally purchased a 100 ml glass cylinder from another Amazon supplier. Even being extra careful, I broke its support base, requiring me to order an alternative product. This 100 ml plastic cylinder (shipped as 2 each) has both raised and printed graduation and is probably as accurate a measure as the glass cylinder. I'm not sure the plastic might stain if using colored or corrosive liquids - but as I won't be measuring those type of liquids - that's not a worry. Seems like a the product I should have purchased in the first place !

LOVE these !!!!!!..... My uncle had given me a GLASS one of these and I always feared it falling and breaking Never realizing that these were made in plastic....... As fate would have it, my landscaper's blower blew the glass cylinder across the patio, breaking it and these are the FABULOUS replacement! THANK YOU for this....... I use this to measure lawn and garden chemical mixtures and this is great !!!

Q: What do you get if you send a toilet paper tube to college and it gets a degree?A: A graduated cylinder.Badum-tish.Note: One other reviewer reported that the "markings came off after ONE COOL WATER washing." I scrubbed at the markings with a Scotch Brite pad and dish detergent, and there was no visible effect. Not sure what that's about.Apart from that, these seem like good graduated cylinders. They aren't precision laboratory glassware, but they aren't intended to be. For more casual uses, like the home beer-brewing that seems to be the manufacturing company's focus, they should work fine. They pour well without drips running down the outside, and the bases are nice and stable.

Used these to solve math problems with our 7 year old girl, pouring colored water.
