This biomat is so much more than a heating pad. I tweaked my lower back and didn’t have the luxury of just letting it heal with time. This heating pad gets SO toasty (in the best way) and allowed my back to relax and heal itself like a portable hot stone massage. It comes with a nice little carry case, remote with timer and temp control, and a mylar blanket to maximize the infrared benefits. It’s so glorious that it gave me the confidence to buy the expensive gigantic one. Even my skeptical momma loved it (Biggest compliment I can pay).

Originally I planned to buy a longer and bigger one for the whole body, but not sure if it works. So I bought a smaller version, easy to carry. Now after using it for a while, I can say it's worth every penny!! 1. It comes with a wire, pad, a pad cover and a bag. 2. it's a bit heavy as it's filled with all sorts of stones as described. 3. temperature is easy to be adjusted to fit needs. 4. the first few nights I used it with heat on all night;) i probably shouldn't do it, but i didn't feel any pain all night. I normally have back pain. It does help release the pain whenever I use it. 5. It's very convenient to use, easy to carry. You can set timer and temperature. 6. This is a great gift for people who live with back, neck pain, etc.

So. I’m not sure what makes this thing work, or if it’s just a great concept but it’s amazing and I feel great sitting on it. I like crystals, I like heat, I work from home and meditate a ton. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I got to lie on a more expensive version during a reiki session and found it nice. First off it’s beautiful. Well made. Tough. I know some people mentioned it’s stiff. That’s true, but it fits everywhere. I can put on the floor, on my chair, or on my bed. The stiffness doesn’t bother me at all, if anything it just feels like it’s gonna hold up for years. I thought I would use it once in a while before bed… Nope. I use it daily, and it’s all different ways. When I get tired or down- I plug it in, throw it on my office chair and start to notice an ease in pain and anxiety. Before bed, I lay on it while I unwind or text friends. Again. I’m not completely sure how this works, all I know is it wasn’t cheap, was def a splurge and now I don’t think I could live without it! Also, I feel eager to have my friends try out it! Just so I can ask around! It really is amazing.

I echo the review by "kbs" - This product was falsely advertised! No PEMF function at all. It was listed as a feature in the product description and title when I had purchased it... of course, when I read it now, the PEMF has been removed from the product description. This company seems highly untrustworthy.

Truly, I can’t imagine being happier with this FIR pad! I am so in love with it because it is helping to diminish the joint and muscle pain associated with ME/CFS from the first day I received it. The pain has been so intense that I was having a great deal of trouble sitting, bending and walking. I’ve had this pain for nearly 5 years and sometimes have felt like I would be in a wheelchair from it. I began by using it all night and whenever I sat down during the day. In the beginning I was in a lot of pain and felt very dependent on it, probably using it up to 16 hours a day. About a month has passed and my pain has reduced so much that I am only using it a few hours during the day and each night. Now I am adding in activities everyday that would have sent me to bed recovering for weeks. I am enjoying instant recovery and no disabling pain from these activities now. It seemed slow in the first weeks, but the pain relief was welcome even in small amounts. It seems the perfect size to move from place to place with me and giving good coverage to whichever affected area I choose. I love being able to REALLY fine tune the heat setting! UPDATE: I am finally beginning to strengthen and gain flexibility. I am excited to be gaining strength and endurance so that I can walk normally, as well as climb stairs at last!! I have recently purchased a second pad for days when I have added in more activity than I have been able to do over the last 5 years and am concerned that I may become sore. Since the pad is not large enough to cover multiple areas, having a second pad is helpful in covering secondary sites that have been virtually unused over the last 5 years. With the use of the pad I do not become sore or painful which is exciting and helpful in helping me restore my previous activity levels. I purchased the 48" version of this for myself direct from Healthy Line early 2018 and love the product. I keep it on my sofa at 40 celcius for me and my cat to "chill" on, and sometimes I put it on the floor with my foil blanket and lavender drops to turn myself into a human burrito at 60 celcius for an hour. It's amazing. In a cold winter I can place it under my sheets to stay warm in bed at night while keeping my thermostat at 64 to save money on heating bills. Awesome. That being said, I purchased this little mini version just for my cat recently. Yes, spoiled animal with his own Amythest mat. I'm only disappointed with the controller. It doesn't keep temperature like my 48" one does. If I set it on 40, the temp will read from 37 to 43 or 44. That's not healthy for a kitty - gets too hot. I'm waiting to call Healthy Line until I've had the issue for a month or so. Right now it's just been a couple weeks. It's a great product with a poor controller. I wish they'd redesign it to be smaller and entirely electronic without the klunky dial, but.... Middle class problems right? The mat works regardless of size - highly recommend. The large one alleviates my back pain like a charm. I can vouch that is good for humans and animals.

I am a believer! I just got this heating oad today so I'll update later if I'm wrong or anything changes, but i laid on it for 3 hours today. I have the worst hip issues and psoriasis arthritis. For the first time in 3 years, I was able to lift my knee to my chest laying down without pain. Seriously amazing. This heating pad supercededs my expectations!! I am back on it now as I write this. Im 40 years old and I wake up so sore in the morning from arthritis and I sleep with a regular heating pad every night. Now this will be my new every night heating pad and I'm so excited to see how it goes! If just 3 hours can enhance my flexibility and helo relive pain then I can't even imagine how ill feel in a week's time. Im so excited! If you are wavering on buying one, just do it! They guarantee their products and i registered mine today!! My hope is to get the full length one and the bonus is that as long as this is still working when I do, I can trade it in for the price of this off of the price of the full body one! I have such hope for this pad and less pain in my life. As someone with chronic pain, I needed something that did not come with side effects. This is my miracle I hoped for. I had heard all about these from a friend who healed after knee surgery on one and reccomended. She healed in half the time and blew doctors away. My doctor wrote me a referral for one based on that reccomendation and my HSA covered the cost. Thank you to the makers of this, because for me it was affordable and it is working on day 1!! I feel such hope! As I said, I will update later on if anything changes or if I have more good to report. Thank you!!

I wasn’t sure at first because I didn’t understand how to use the remote. Hint: the timer is segmented by hours not minutes. Once you start the timer it will count down both hours and minutes. The company has great customer service and once they explained how to use the remote I was a very satisfied customer. Have used it everyday since. Great for lower back pain. More comfortable than another amethyst pad I had been using. I rarely write reviews. This is a wonderful product.
