Nutricost sells its supplements in an improved bottle. Sloped sides make getting one out easier. I wish other brands were as customer supportive.And, Selenium reduces my Prostate cancer risk.

You shouldn't take too much Selenium. The recommended dose is 100 mcg to 200 mcg per day. It is Suggested in doses of no more than 200 mcg per day. I decided to try these. 100 mcg is the perfect size.I have been taking these for about three weeks. I decided to based on what they are good for, the thyroid.It does blend well with iodine. helps easy the effects of effects of iodine. We will see if it does boost your immune system, no way to tell if is working or not. Of course, who does not want any kind of benefits of slow age-related mental decline, and even reduce your risk of heart disease.No smell or odor from the capsules. None of them seem to be broken. Surprised when opening the bottle, inside was not covered in dust from broken capsules. They are easy to swallow with a good gulp of water.Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. This product may work well for some, but beware that it can significantly raise blood pressure. After less than a week of taking it, my blood pressure was quite elevated, so I had to stop using it.

It’s hard to say what it is selenium does exactly but I do know that when I’ve taken it over the years it’s greatly reduced my sweet tooth. I think I crave sweets when my metabolism isn’t working well as if sugar will give me a boost of energy. My thyroid sometimes needs more support than the medication I take for it provides. When I am feeling this way selenium is one of my go-to supplements.Nutricost selenium is easy to swallow with no impact to my digestive system. It’s flavorless, small capsules provide enough selenium to cover me for a couple of days. I prefer to introduce smaller amounts over a longer period of time. I haven’t used this brand long enough yet to know if it’s working but I like everything about the tasteless, small capsules. I will however update when my sweet tooth stops giving me non stop cravings. Fingers crossed!
