These are nice Pens for Brush Style Calligraphy. I was not sure when I got them if they would be like the chisel nib calligraphy pens, I have had before, they are not. They are brush style, so the nib is flexible and a little hard to control. There is one Soft pen (black plastic body) and one hard nib pen (blue plastic body). The soft pen has more movement and is slightly harder to control but good for fluid strokes. The hard brush is better for small handwriting and lettering. These pens are good for sketching (Japanese inking style) and well as handwriting or lettering. They are good value for the money. I have found that any tombow product is generally very good in terms of performance and quality. The pens arrived next day and expected as I am a prime member.

They are great if you are new to lettering. I love ther firm pen more but the other great as well.

Great pens for calligraphy work well

These pens are so lovely, fun to use, both the hard and soft tips, great for calligraphy beginners like me, as they automatically produce the thin and thick lines with the up and down strokes that you're looking for. (And the supplier was fantastic, they came really quickly from Japan for an excellent price with a delightful little hand-written note!)

I can see why so many artists recommend these brush pens they are so much better than others and I've used a load. The lining process with these is stress free and easy going due to the waterproof ink in these and the fact they do not fade no matter the medium. Amazing

Canetas maravilhosas!

Me decanté por los Tombow porque sólo veía comentarios positivos sobre ellos. Te vienen dos de distinto grosor, los dos negros (que no os confunda el color de fuera) Los he probado para algunos bocetos (aunque en principio los he comprado para ir aprendiendo lettering) y son una maravilla. El trazo es suave, flexible y de un negro firme e intenso. Muy buenos, sin duda.

Ho acquistato queste penne per inchiostrare fumetti e sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dalla qualità del prodotto. La penna è ben bilanciata e permette grazie alla sua punta di ottenere delle linee di intensità differente - a seconda della pressioni è dell’angolazione. Agevola notevolmente l’inchiostrazione, asciuga rapidamente e mantiene nel tempo un bel nero. Sto acquistando altri prodotti della Tombow e queste sono già tra “le cose da ordinare ancora”. Nel pacco sono comprese due penne con punte dallo spessore differente, sigillate all’interno di una bustina con un packaging molto semplice. Assolutamente originali. Le consiglio.

No lo uso para lettering, lo uso para dibujar. Me sorprendió lo cómodos que son al usar, la tinta se parece mucho a las de las Pigma así que es muy buena opcion para rellenar areas negras en dibujos. Los recomiendo antes de gastar más en plumas recargables.
