12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky With Giftbox, 70 cl

I recently tried the Aberlour 12 Year Old, and I wanted to share my thoughts! First off, the packaging is really impressive. It comes in this beautifully designed box that feels very special and high-quality. It would make a fantastic gift for anyone who enjoys sophisticated drinks. The box itself is so well-made and looks really fancy. When it comes to the drink itself, the color is a lovely golden brown, kind of like a really rich apple juice, maybe with a touch of honey mixed in to give it that warm glow. It's very smooth, which is something I really appreciate. It's easy to drink and doesn't have any harshness. The taste is a delightful combination of sweet and warm flavors. It reminds me of toffee, like the delicious toffee you'd find in a candy store, and there's also a hint of cinnamon and ginger, like a freshly baked, warm cookie straight from the oven! On top of that, there's a fruity note, like a subtle hint of apples. It's a really enjoyable and comforting taste. Overall, the Aberlour 12 Year Old is a warm and tasty drink. I really enjoyed it! It feels like a special, grown-up drink that would be perfect for celebrating special occasions.

A great tasting whisky that is definitely worth the Black Friday deal price. It’s presented in a nice carton so makes the perfect present. My husband and I had the same thoughts when we saw the deal and we both purchased it. No sending back as it’s a great choice for those who appreciate a fine 12 year old Scottish malt whisky.

I'm a big fan of Speyside whiskies, and the Aberlour 12 Year Old is a fantastic example. It's a beautifully balanced and smooth single malt with a lovely sherry influence. On the nose, you get notes of rich dried fruits, vanilla, and a hint of spice. The taste is equally impressive, with flavors of sweet apple, toffee, and a creamy, nutty character. The finish is long, warm, and very satisfying. This is an incredibly drinkable whisky that's perfect for both newcomers to single malts and seasoned enthusiasts. It's great on its own, neat or with a splash of water, and offers excellent value for the quality you get. A definite must-have for any whisky lover's cabinet. Highly recommended!

Really nice whisky, picked up a bottle on Prime Day offer. Always used to love the peaty Islay heavy hitters but my tastes are widening into less potent expressions. I'm never amazing at picking out exact flavour profiles but it definitely has a rich sweetness on the palate with a clean finish. Very smooth and pleasant. Particularly great deal at £29.99.

Now and again, I come across a whiskey when I think to myself “ this is my new favourite.” This Aberlour 12 year old did just that! It has a beautifully balanced fruity taste. I enjoy it neat, over ice or with a mixer. For the price, I am very impressed with this drink. I have actually bought another two bottles for my cabinet. I am one happy customer!

Buy this twice a year for present. Always gratefully received....a very nice malt, apparently!
