A Kids First award winner! Review My son has autism and is 9 years old. This movie has been one of his absolute favorites since he was about 4 years old. We've gone through 2 copies of it due to the fact that he watches it almost daily. When his last copy recently broke due to the fact that the tape was just worn out, he cried for two days! We promised him he would get a new copy for his birthday this month, and he can't wait. Lots of kids who have autism love trains for some reason, and they can see lots of them in this movie. He likes to hum the tune from the movie even when he is not watching it. His great-grandfather who retired from the railroad liked the movie so much that he bought himself a copy to watch when we weren't visiting him! We have many train videos, but this is his favorite, especially Volume 2. I would recommend this for anyone who loves trains! --A ParentEasily one of the best videos my son has. I bought this for mu 3 year old son and boy does he love it, it is a great dvd for children who just want to see trains. There is no talking, just really catchy songs that my 3 year old is already singing. It is a nice that they show all different sorts of trains, and there are even clips that separates each type of train if the kid prefers ( my son loves the choo choos and table trains) so this was a great bonus. Great dvd.

Give Us More of "Lots and Lots of Trains"
The dvd may be dated, but my 2 y/o toddler grandson doesn't know the difference and absolutely loves this train dvd. He wants it played over and over again. So glad I ordered it for him! The music is catchy and fun, and our sweet boy dances to the music! Just wish it was longer than 30 minutes, as he enjoys it so much! Time for a current version with new footage and 60 minutes in length.

Great for young children!
My son LOVES trains and this was perfect for him! The songs that play during the movie are cute and fun to sing along to. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend the movie to any mom with young children. I only have one complaint, and that is the movie does not automatically start over once it ends. This would not be a big deal if it were a longer movie but I do have to constantly restart the DVD.

My 2 year old boy loves it.
My son loves to watch this video over and over. It's basically just footage of trains with music and a few songs but he seems to really enjoy watching it as he plays with his train set. I wish it were a bit longer and/or had some educational value but since he enjoys it so much it gets a good review from me.

lots & lots of trains great for 3-year-old
my 3-yr-old boy loves this movie. he loves all the music, sings the songs, and he loves the variety of trains they show. The short segments keep him entertained, and he loves to ask "what train is that?" (Santa Fe), "what is that?" (tram in Lisbon), etc. I ordered volume 1 on vhs (used) and vol 2 on dvd, so I would have one for the computer and dvd player, and one that works in the VHS when the dvd gets scratched!!!

Another Great one for the kids of ALL ages
As stated in my review of Lots & Lots of Trains vol 3 and vol 1 my grandson who means the world to me LOVES these! I love how he tells me the different types of trains and what they do and what they are for. And of course the sing along train song that I hear him singing. I can hear him now sticks in your head. Anything for my little train conductor!
