Good product and excellent customer service
I bought this well over a year ago and it's been great but I broke a part recently (my own fault) and needed a replacement part, I contacted the seller and they said they don't have the part I needed bit then offered me a refund or replacement which I thoight was so kind of them considering how long it's been! As it was my own fault I declined and bought a new one from then instead as I feel they deserved the continued custom for not only providing a great product that has served me well from the day I bought it and for being so helpful when contacted about a problem.I would highly recommend.

Not made to last
I first bought one of these flexible hoses in July 2020. By the following Spring it had developed a leak. I'd had work done in the garden and assumed that one of the workmen must have not treated it with care. I bought a replacement in June 2021. This was used to water the garden plants and nothing more and was ok for the remainder off the year. It was then carefully stored over Winter. When Spring arrived I found that this second hose had also sprung a leak. Assuming I had been unlucky I bought another in July 2022, but once again despite being carefully used and stored for the Winter it also leaks. Realising there was a pattern emerging I contacted Amazon for a refund. I had a chat line conversation with Milly who advised that I could not have a refund on the first two faulty items, but could receive my money back if I returned the most recent one. I tried to explain that i no longer had the packaging as I had purchased it 9 months previously. I have lost around £70 with this faulty product and I am so disappointed with Amazon's response that I will give some thought in the coming days whether to close my account.

Lasted 2 days less than a year.
So, I waited to do my review of this, didn’t want to be too eager. My hose pipe officially split today. It has been 363 days since I bought my hose pipe. Now I’ll be honest I’ve not been the best hose pipe owner. I drag it along the floor, I leave it out in most weathers (did put it away in the shed during winter), I stretch it to max capacity because it just doesn’t quite reach the bottom of my garden and use it almost daily. I like this hose. It’s easy to drape over the tap when not in use. It’s not too bulky or too heavy. Shrinks up to quite short when not filled with water. I will buy again but I will probs go for the slightly longer one so I can actually reach the bottom of my garden. All in all I think it’s pretty good.

Weighs a fraction of an ordinary hose!
As I am disabled, I have been finding it increasingly harder to take care of the garden. Watering with an ordinary hose had become rather dangerous as I was struggling to drag it round and water with the help of a zimmer frame. The sheer weight of it often threatened to unbalance me. This hose is incredibly light weight, even when full of water. I can now manage to water the pots and beds without fear of being pulled over. Even if the hose only lasts a few years, it's worth it at this price (£15). My only warning re the hose is to be careful if you are draining it for storage near cats. They see it shrinking and start biting and clawing the hose. I don't want the hose to develop a leak thanks to a cat attack!

Just the job
I had to replace my 100ft flexi hose with this 150ft one after having an extension built, meaning my other hose did not reach my front garden. It arrived in 2 days in it's original box with an address label attached. The lid was open but all the parts were inside. I already have a hook so did not have to mount that. Out of the packet, rubber band off, fit to tap, attach gun (I had to remove one part of the connector before inserting the gun firmly. Now HERE IS THE TIP - it is called flexi for a reason, so to prevent it from splitting, you MUST LOCK THE GUN HEAD OPEN (and leave it that way) and then turn on the tap, then TURN OFF AT THE TAP AND NOT AT THE GUN or the build up of water pressure will split the hose or burst a gasket as it will continue to expand. Its cover makes it easier to handle, it prevents damage when it's being dragged behind you, it's easy to untangle and hang up, it is light weight. It helps to allow the water to drain from the hose as you hang it up. It may be a bit tricky to get it into its bag if you take it in in winter (bit like putting a bean bag inner skin back into its bag after refilling it!) Just ensure pipe is empty and it will wind up sufficiently (having a handy person to hold the bag for you will help). This type if hose has been great for me and more manageable than a standard hose. However, if the tap connector end fails (if the spring pops) after time, you will have to buy a new hose as its construction integrates the cover and it doesnt lend itself to replacement parts being fitted. Overall though I give it 5 stars.

Works as expected but protective outer much too delicate frays easily causing soft rubber to burst
hose does the job, lightweight and easily put away. Accessories cheap materials and construction but work, standard fittings so can replace easily with Hoselock etc. But the fabric outer is much to delicate for regular garden usage and frays. The inner expandable rubber pipe is not strong and without the support of the outer non-elastic fabric easily bursts. Maybe repairable but don't expect to last very long. Nice ideas just needs much more durable outer fabric.

Just as good as x hose etc
These expandable hoses are the in trend thing, we've all seen adverts from x hose etc but they are very expensive for the same thing. I've had one previously and they are no better than this. In fact my x hose one used to leak at the connection with the outside tap and had issues with the boot loosening on the spray gun. This one though was very easy to connect. Came with washers and doesn't leak at all, lightweight and expands correctly. Spray gun all the different functions work well and completely goes back down once water all out. Handy to have the little bag to put and store in.
