Does anyone else’s flask seem to lose heat through the lid? It seems to get quite warm

Not that I’ve really noticed but you have to make sure the flask is hot inside ( ie boiling water) before you put your food in to ensure it stays hot.

Is this dishwasher safe?

The manufacturer says not to put in the dishwasher. I read a review by someone else that said the flask was not retaining its heat as much as it used to and they suggested it was because they had put it in the dishwasher. I always do it by hand and it is still working well. The wide neck means it’s easy to get a sponge or brush in there and get all the 90 degree angles (base & shoulders). DD much happier to take leftovers to school than boring old sandwiches every day.
