Excellent for Homemade Products
Outstanding product. Works great for my homemade moisturizer. Very nice emulsifier. Be sure to melt the crystals completely so you don't end up with a granular product.

Useful as a lead casting flux
I use this for casting lead. A little sprinkle acts as flux and brings out the dross to the top of the lead pot. I use a salt shaker with slightly enlarged holes. It’s easier to handle than borax and cheaper than alternatives. A little goes a long way. This package will last many casting sessions.

Good for adding to shaving soap that won't lather
I mixed this with coconut oil to add to a shaving soap i bought recently that wouldn't lather and it worked wonders so far.
