Takes alot for me to be impressed!!
Best sweetener I've ever tried - by far. And no nasties, additives or unnatural ingredients to bulk it out like many other sweeteners on the market. No horrid after taste either. Barely raises blood sugar, low cal etc. I found it to have 90% the same texture and taste as brown sugar which is pretty good going given it isn't brown sugar! Yes it's pricey so I definitely won't be using it in baking but I'm using as an alternative in my coffee, porridge and hot chocolate instead of brown sugar. I would say it's about 85-90% as sweet as brown sugar. Will definitely buy again.

very good sugar alternative
Sukrin Gold is produced by fermenting glucose from Non-GMO corn starch with a natural culture (much like the process used in the production of cheese). The resultant liquid is dried, and a little stevia is added along with malt to give the flavour, aroma and texture of brown sugar. Sukrin Gold is an all-natural, brown sugar-free sweetener with the aroma, sweetness, flavour and texture of brown sugar. It has 97% less available carbs than sugar and is made with natural, non-genetically modified ingredients. GI value of 1 Ingredients: Sukrin Granulated (Polyol-Erythritol, Tagatose, Glycerol, Malt extract (gluten free), Stevia steviol glycosides (Rebaudioside A) Overall the look and feel is pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing. Yes, it is expensive compared to other sweeteners and best to use where it really makes a difference such as sprinkled on top of porridge, fruit or yoghurt. I've also tried in baking and so far it has proved excellent

Great product
First time buying this, I couldn’t find it in the shops. The taste is perfect and so is the texture but the pack is quite small if you use it for baking and the price is quite high. I will buy it again but it remains a treat

A very good sugar alternative.
I am cutting down on sugar and while this is quite expensive, it is an excellent substitute. I use it carefully and it seems to last a long time. It is rather like Demerara sugar with a similar texture and spoonful for spoonful is the same sweetness as sugar. It does not seem to have an after-taste. I have to admit that it being formulated in Norway attracted me at first, but I’m glad it did!

It tasted great in my coffee
It tasted great in my coffee. It had not a cooling aftertaste nor was it bitter. I cant believe its only a calorie per spoonful. I looked up natural sweeteners and found nearly every one has cancer directly or indirectly indicated and nearly every one has a high glycemic index reading which causes our body to try to filter out sugars in our blood which are simply not there ,and eventually shuts down the insulin levels causing our bodies to stop filtering out real sugars when we consume them in foods etc. Which causes weight gain and diabetes. Only stevia did not do this but it tasted real bitter in mycoffe and wasent worth it.guava nectar was a cheap honey substitute and is still sugar. Honey is the only natural vitamin sweetener but again it doesnt taste good in coffee. Fermented corn starch is natural and my body is designed to deal with the processof breaking this sweetener down. It tastes as sweet as sugar and youll need two teaspoonfulls. It costs a bit much but for dietary and health reasons I will continue to buy it.great item!

Oh...it's goooood
I eat keto and was getting concerned about the amount of erythritol I was consuming. I always preferred the idea of a more natural sweetener like stevia but couldn't deal with the taste of it. I bought this because I was baking and making sauces and things with normal erythritol and I wanted something a bit sweeter that I could use less of. This product is perfect. It is expensive compared with plain erythritol but you don't use as much because the stevia boosts the sweetness (without adding the aftertaste). I've used it in cookies, BBQ sauce, teriyaki sauce, porridge and it's worked beautifully. It's also good in coffee.

Great smell, ok taste
If you are buying this because you dislike the bitter aftertaste of a lot of sweeteners, be prepared to be a little disappointed. However, don’t let that put you off as there are still some advantages over the nasty white powdery sweeteners out there. Smell - lovely! Just like brown sugar. Texture (when dry) - nice big crystals, flows and moves like brown sugar. Weight - is reassuringly 'substantial' and much easier to judge in recipes than the lightweight stuff that is suspiciously like something out of a school chemistry lab. Baking -not bad. As it dissolves so quickly, this doesn’t clump and will flavour your bake evenly. Don’t expect the rich depth of flavour that you get from working with real brown sugar and don’t bother sprinkling on top of cakes/sweet breads etc as it will go weird. Also quite good for coffee as it holds most of the strong brown sugar aroma. As long as you are prepared to overlook the aftertaste and focus on the lovely smell and fairly reasonably initial taste, then this is worth a shot.

I love it!! Wonderful sugar substitute
I moved from the States about 8 months ago. I have been on a Keto diet for years. I used Lakanto, which I love, primarily for the vast majority of dessert making, most especially with chocolate . But it is super expensive to ship to Ireland. I knew that Sukrin, specifically the “brown sugar” verison, has been popular with many Keto recipe bloggers. The Sukrin: It smells amazing- like brown sugar. The texture is like brown sugar. I used it to make creme brûlée for my sister and partner who do not use sugar substitutes. I don’t know if they even realized it was not sugar- they never commented and loved it. I’ve used it to make hot chocolate and offered it to guests who want sugar for their tea. My mother loves it and uses it. I can’t detect and aftertaste or a cooling effect. I definitely will be trying the “white sugar” as well. I know that one is used with stevia and while I love stevia for certain things I can’t stand it with chocolate- the flavor profiles do not go together for my taste buds. (I also know I am not alone in that opinion.)

This is my go to baking sugar! It helps make caramel brown and adds that brown sugar flavor to recipes that require brown sugar and molasses while keeping carbs at near zero with zero impact on blood sugar. It's a game changer. I notice zero odd after taste and it does not have a cooling effect.

This is perhaps the best tasting brown sugar substitute that we have found. And we really like that it made from Stevia instead of some artificial sweetener. But, as good as it is, the flavor doesn't quite compare well to real brown sugar. Still, for those looking to reduce their sugar intake and for diabetics this is a good product.

This stuff tastes, and has the texture of, real brown sugar without any cooling erythritol aftertaste. I was surprised, when I read the ingredients on the package, that it has Stevia in it. In the past, t've only had unpleasant experiences with the bitter taste of Stevia. There is no bitter taste at all with this sweetener. Plus it is very sweet, so I don't need to add a ton of it to get my desired level of sweetness.
