After countless hair clippers, I'm finally very satisfied. After cheap (Remington, Philips, Braun ..) and middle class tailors, I looked for the perfect hair clipper in the high-priced segment. My requirements for a hair clipper are: - as short as possible (millimeter hairstyle) - clean cut - easy to clean - easy gliding on the scalp - easy to use, because I cut my own hair. The ELECTION masters all these points with flying colors! I previously had the Panasonic GP80. Also a good hair clipper, but unsuitable for me. - does not glide over the scalp with a short hairstyle due to the partially plastic cutting head. - MmN difficult to clean (cutting head with many corners and edges) The CHOICE glides easily over my head and shaves off all hair perfectly. No tearing, no jerking, no annoying 5x over the same spot so that all hair is really gone like in most models. The battery is also great. It holds the capacity for a long time and I can trim my head 4-5 times and the beard 6-7 times with a load until it slowly gets tired. The tailor's weight is somewhat high compared to others. Doesn't bother me further. It gives me the feeling that I have bought something of value that I will have something from for a long time. I also find it positive that it is easy to clean and if something needs to be replaced, you can simply undo the Phillips screws (other devices are pressed and glued or provided with special screws). Unfortunately I can't say anything about the accessories and the comb. But like everything makes a very valuable impression. A bag for storage would be nice, but that's the least evil. The power supply and the connection cable also look very high quality. The cable is also long enough to use the mains to style your hair when the battery is empty. Overall, a great device that unfortunately does not get the attention it deserves. I would buy it again and again and can fully recommend it!

Bought as a gift for my adult son. He says they are superb and as good as barbers' clippers.

I agonised over purchasing these due to the mixed reviews. I wasn't concerned about Wahl quality but more about the possibility of getting a fake. I took the plunge when I saw the seller was a UK based company with very good ratings. The clippers I received do not have the "Pro lithium" emblem on the front. However, after a lot of Googling, studying the device itself and then using it, I am well satisfied that they are the "real deal". I have been using Wahl clippers since the early Nineties and have always tried to buy the more expensive barber shop versions. Always corded because I have always been of the opinion that nothing beats plug in power. Having used these now to give myself a 15 minute haircut plus a 5 minute play about (because who doesn't when they have clippers in their hand) thereis no sign of diminished power. I gave them the mandatory 3 hour charge out the box and they performed as well as my corded clippers. In fact better because they are a little lighter and there is no cord to wrap around your neck. It comes with 4 attachment combs from no 1 to 4. I have a whole range of combs so decided to use those instead because they are better quality than the ones you get in the box. I haven't tried "zero gapping" the blades and don't intend to try as they worked perfectly for my needs. I was able to trim around my ears very finely. Standard they appear to be around 1mm gap which may not be fine enough for some people. I believe you can replace the blade screws if you need a zero gap. All in all I am well pleased and would highly recommend. The reason for 4 stars is because the picture on Amazon shows the clipper with "Prolithium" on the case. This gave me a little anxiety about getting a fake. I would suggest that the seller updates the photo with the new packaging and clipper style. Other than that, I wish I had bought these ages ago. Would have save me loads of bother with extension cords.

Product arrived with packaging damaged on plugging in the product, you could immediately smell a strong acidic metallic smell and the device started to overheat and then caused the plug to switch off, luckily the plug itself that I had it attached to has its own built-in safety feature which will cut off any devices plugged in which are faulty and could potentially cause serious damage. The clippers was so hot that I was unable to touch them and could have easily burnt my hand if I did not have asbestos hands from years of hairdressing. Anyone who regularly uses clippers like I have done for the past 20 years for my profession would easily recognise a damaged battery due to the smell and the how it's overheated. Under UK law it is illegal to knowingly post a damaged lithium battery and no courier will accept a damaged lithium battery for carriage. It was practically impossible to arrange a return of the item as no courier would accept it. I was essentially told to post it regardless which and then I would be legally responsible should any damage occur during transportation and could face a hefty fine for posting a damaged battery. It is classed as a hazardous material when in such a damaged state. The company was not very helpful in helping to resolve the situation. Luckily Amazon themselves was extremely helpful and arranged a refund and disposal of the item. If you're going to sell products that contain lithium batteries and there is a possibility that they could be a fault the company needs to be able to arrange a suitable refund and replacement and not completely disregard their responsibility as a seller. Do not recommend buying from this company due to their lack of customer services and holy inadequate packaging which is probably what led to the damage occurring during transit

VERY good. Cuts like a dream, light and battery life seems to be crazy. I use it to 'bald' my head every few months, and it only takes ten minutes or so.

I've been using the wired version for more than 2 years. Perfect for my two boys. When we moved houses I got this wireless version and it was just better. No more wires (duh), and surprisingly it's lighter. I have yet to see though how long the batteries will last. But so far so good. What I also like about this is that I can easily clean it. All you need is a philips screwdriver and you can clean the blades thoroughly.

Just buy Wahl clippers because anything else is simply a poor copy of the original and best. These are the cordless version of the fantastic corded Wahl clippers. They cut cleanly with no pulling. Adjust easily and are quiet and smooth to use. They are comfortable to hold and use for extended periods of time. Not having a cable is a definite advantage. These are not cheap but worth the asking price for the quality.
