Durable, Engaging, and Great for Open-Ended Play
These magnetic tiles are sturdy and hold together well, even with tall or complex builds. The colours are bright, and the variety of shapes makes them great for creativity. The set keeps kids occupied for hours, and the pieces work with other brands. They’ve taken some rough handling without any issues. Great for building focus and fine motor skills. Solid choice for ages 3 and up.

Hours of entertainment and creativity, regardless of age!
After researching which brand of magnetic tiles to buy, Playmags was recommended as one of the best quality. I bought this 150-piece set for my 2 year old for Christmas last year and we have not been disappointed. She played with them every day for 3 months straight before having a little break, but not a week goes by without them coming out a few times. After a couple of months, we also bought 2 subsequent supplementary smaller packs in order to get more triangles and to be able to make some of the structures in the booklet. We also combine them with our other toys/props, such as characters, dinosaurs, trains, cars, pom-poms, you name it, and my daughter (now 3) tells stories while she plays. I’ve attached pictures of our creation this morning, I had so much fun! (I’m 44 by the way). My au-pair and my parents also love playing with them. The colours are vibrant, the magnets are strong and the quality is superb and as an open-ended toy, it has real longevity. Hours of entertainment and creativity, well worth the money. For this Christmas I've got my eye on the pack that has doors in it!

Best toy for family fun.
Best toy ever bought. No Lego anymore! This is so fun - kids built houses, cars, towers, walls, kitten trap. Fun to build, rebuild, destroy - fast, colorful, strong magnets. 1 year old like to sit in built house. Kitten jumped on houses always when they where high to destroy it, so kids trapped her in house. Now kitten wait to play with as always in playmags. So so fun. Respect. Worth every cent. I bought 2x 150 set - will by more for big playhouse! However I should warn you for safety reasons(not toys fault) - Biger kids are more impulsive in games so warn them not to destroy high towers with head because toy is hard and sharp. Yesterday my son did that and has 4 cm long and prity deep scratches near eye. He was lucky to keep eye. Again - not toy fault but adult has to give warning to kids about safety. Safety destroying or unproposed falling on big buildings from toy. Still best toy

Great but pricey
Bought as a joint present for my sons 4th birthday and my daughters second. They both love playing with them! The four year old got the hang of it really quickly as is being more and more creative in what he builds. The two year old needs a little bit of help but is also able to build a lot herself. The models are not particularly strong so irritating at times for the little one whe things collapse. If I'm honest I really enjoy playing with them too so can see these being enjoyed for a long time. Can see older children using it very creatively and to support learning in shape etc. I'm glad I bought the large set as think anything smaller would be quite limiting especially if two children are playing together. Quite expensive though. And slightly irritating that the idea book gives lots of things that aren't possible without purchasing another set. Had an upset little boy trying to copy. Especially as this was the large set and cost a lot. Also would be good if this included the board as that's another £13 just for one. Have since found cheaper sets on eBay and wish I had tested those first. But these are good quality and very much enjoyed so would recommend.

My most popular toy.
Well I had to splurge and buy the biggest set of these due to their popularity with the children I childmind. They captivate all ages 5 + making detailed cathedral like towers, cars, flat circles out of triangles .... Favourite activity at the moment is putting finger tip lights (the kind you get in party bags) in the cubes and structures they build to make them glow. They are easy to store in a small space or box and pick up as the magnetism is strong. Clear up of these takes seconds and I always find it relaxing fitting them jenga style with no gaps. The magnets do collapse if the structure being built gets too large or is knocked but generally there are no construction problems and the children build wonderful structures. They insist I take photos before knocking them down for the next try. They have great longevity and have been happily played with for a year.

Amazing open ended toy for years of fun!
I rave about these magnetic tiles to anyone that will listen. My son is obsessed with them. We purchased them last Christmas, he’d turned 3 two months prior. He’s played with them pretty much every single day since and has asked for more for his 4th birthday so we’ve just bought him 2 more sets of Playmags - the Dome set and the Train set. The magnets are strong, the quality of the tiles is great - they’ve been thrown around and dropped etc and all still intact. They’ve brought out my son’s creative side even more and he loves building new things every day. I’m glad we chose the 150 piece set as it has such a good variety of tiles. I can’t recommend them enough as an open ended toy for hours/years of fun! This is his runway he built! :-)
