Natural Whey - Refreshing Vanilla

I ordered this Natural Whey Protein - Cacao - 76% Protein, Organic Whey from Grass Fed Cows - Free of Nasties - 500g to use before/ after exercising at the gym. I have tried the natural powder which was tasty with a banana added or great for using in cooking but wanted to have one that I can add straight to water/milk on the go without having to add anything else. It arrived in a natural looking packet which is re-sealable to keep it fresh Both myself and my husband use protein powder on a regular basis but with this one I feel assured that it is a natural, organic product. It is Hormone free, GMO free, Soy free, and has no Artificial Additives, Added Sugars or other Sweeteners so very natural indeed. It blends in my blender very well with both milk and water and has a subtle cacao flavour. It has a Best before date of November 2018 so plenty of time to use but I'm sure it will be all gone by then! To use I simply add 1 scoop to a cup of water/milk (scoop is included) and blend - it takes seconds and then I can get on with exercising in the knowledge I'm using a natural, tasty product. Overall this is a good quality protein which is easy to blend and drink and I have been very satisfied when using it. Thank you so much for this great product! Unlike most Whey Protein powders, this has Organic and all natural ingredients - no rubbish- perfect! Keeping my diet clean and organic, this is just what i needed for my workout days and it tastes sooo good. I will definitely be ordering again! This when blended in a ninja (or similar) is absolutely yummy. If you are blending by just shaking it in a drinks bottle (not a proper shake bottle) then it doesn't blend well. Hence the 4* rather than 5. If i tried it in a shake bottle it may work, i dont know as i dont have one. It doesn't leave that after taste like a protein powders can do. I tried vanilla. I will be ordering again as its the best I've ever tried. Yummy

The taste is simply horrible, and they don't offer refunds. I read the reviews, but it's nothing like what they said. It makes you want to vomit that whey protein taste.

There is so many products in the market right now but its not easy finding a company with high quality organic ingredients like Ekopura. They are deffo my go to for many products and I hope they stick around for the long run.

I don't mind the significant increase in price for this brand of whey over others, given its emphasis on quality ingredients and ethical farming. It's a great product irregardless of the price. The chocolate flavour is mild and not excessively sweet; it's just the right amount of flavour to make the whey palatable. Considering I take 50 grams post-workout, some other brands are so sweet and artificiality flavoured that it becomes nauseating to consume that much. If you can afford the increase in price, it's definitely worth it.

Bought this to try it out and see how grass-fed whey and stevia changed the flavor. One thing I was not counting on what the lack of emulsifier. If you don't have a lot of hard feelings about emulsifier, go for a protein powder with it. Combining this emulsifier-free powder with milk in a shaker resulted in a gritty, frothy drink that had not blended well and stuck to my teeth. Very tacky feeling. And again, if you don't like emulsifiers, you may be willing to put up with this. I was indifferent to the nutritional effect of emulsifiers, so now I've decided I much prefer having them. Afterward, the unmixed protein powder stuck to the sides of my shaker. But I couldn't shake it any more, because I would have turned it into foam. Can you even drink this if you blend it with a blender...? The flavor was very light, and combining one scoop of powder with a full glass of milk (400ml) resulted in barely any flavor at all. You taste only the milk. I haven't tried it in water so I'm not sure what that would taste like. But definitely a lightweight flavor compared to most vanilla protein powders, which are sweet on par with ice cream. I'd prefer this flavor if it weren't for the awful mixing. In summary, if you're not hardcore for minimalist ingredients, I'd give this one a miss. It's hard and unpleasant to drink and the grittiness and foaminess are off-putting.

I’ve been looking for some whey powder that is flavoured but doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners or soy or any of the other rubbish that mainstream brands lace their products with. This one fits the bill and tastes good too. I don’t really have the issue of it being “too frothy”, but you have to shake it for longer to get all of the powder to mix in. I’d recommend giving it a try at least, see what you think. Hope this helps.

Tiene un sabor muy bueno y natural, infinitamente mejor que las proteínas de gimnasio. Y no tiene aditivos artificiales. Es un producto muy bueno. El precio es algo elevado aunque si tenemos en cuenta el porcentaje de proteína (hay que echar menos que con otras), no lo es tanto como parece.

Le proteine hanno un buon gusto e sono naturali. Una buona alternativa a colazione o dopo lo sport

Dopo averle assunte per almeno una settimana mi sembra che le proteine del latte biologiche Ekopura siano di ottima qualità. La polvere si scioglie facilmente nell'acqua o nel latte di riso, meglio se usando un frullatore ma in mancanza di questo anche con una forchetta (a patto di avere pazienza). Il sapore, alla vaniglia naturale, è ottimo. E' molto importante che le proteine di siero, essendo molto concentrate, provengano da latte bio, in modo da evitare la concentrazione di antibiotici o altre sostanze nocive. E' altrettanto importante che la produzione sia europea. Inoltre è fondamentare evitare i solidificanti e gli aromi artificiali di cui sono pieni alcuni prodotti. La Natural Whey Protein è di produzione olandese e risponde a questi requisiti.

Ottimo prodotto sia per gusto che per solubilità. Privo di ingredienti e aromi artificiali. Lo consiglio!

I chose this product for its ingredients and their green/bio side but it does not melt at all which makes it undrinkable. I don’t know what to do with it now.
