This is the one with the most pleasing and unoffensive scent, it's gentlest on my skin and it's OK value for money too. I have sensitive skin and a very coarse beard. I use Feather blades with a Merkur 39C (or sometimes a 23C or a progress or one or two other bars). Edit 25/8/2025: The last two tubes I have are a bit more watery than it used to be, and the price has gone up, so a bit less excited now... About 1 inch of cream per shave, out of the tube and it lathers beautifully in my bowl. I would really like to prefer some of the higher end stuff, and have used TOBS (loads of em), the other Prorasos, Trumper, Castle Forbes, Gentleman's face care club - you name it. But none of them quite tick all the boxes as well as this one does. Maybe they should put it in a posh tub and charge four times the price (no....please don't!)

Lovely shaving cream, gets a good lather even without a brush.

I’ve been going through the entire proraso range having recently swapping to a traditional safety razor. These are much nicer than foam/gel from the supermarket. I’ll be honest, this has been my least favourite sent, but it’s not bad. I gave it to my father and he seemed happy with it. I would say I have sensitive skin, but not had any problems with the non-sensitive products, so can’t say if this is any better. For the price, it’s worth trying.

I have used this product for some time. It is best applied with a brush but you can just use your hand and still get a good result.

Smells fresh like lemmons or even limes . Lathers very well , i face lather and found it to be thick and creamy using my shaving brush. I noticed a lack of reddnes on my face also less irritation. Would recommend the cream soap and i will buy again when ive finished this tube.

This is a terrific shaving soap. I've used soaps in bowls for years but this beats them.

I've bought a lot of shaving soaps and creams over the years, especially from Proraso. This is for me a fine scented cream that made it into my top 5.

For his birthday, I bought my partner a new safety razor. I figured I'd buy a complete set of new razors and new shaving cream too. He previously always experienced irritation whenever shaving, but he'd only used cheap shaving cream brands which if anything, made the irritation worse. I bought this one because it was supposed to be 'sensitive' so I figured it'd be ideal to help him get back into using shaving creams. Here are his first impressions: - The smell is quite strange and non-distinct - very hard to explain. It isn't a bad smell however and not perfumey, which is a plus. - It is a very large tube, and a little goes quite a long way, so It seems good value - will last quite a long time. - Overall, the product worked really well, and although he still has some irritation after shaving, it has worked significantly better than the cheaper brands and he intends to keep using it.

Product as a product is great. But I ordered twice and twice I received pure water inside instead of cream. Just to mention that I ordered from Amazon Ireland. When I ordered from UK item was in a cream form has to be. So I think that is the problem how is stored in some warehouse in Ireland. Just wanted to mentioned because product is great but depends from you ordering.
