Fantastic Mouse would recommend!!
Firstly, I would like to say how I really think this mouse is the best one I have ever purchased. to set the context, I have had a Razer Naga for 6 years before it broke fully and I needed a new mouse, I purchased Scimitar PRO as I had the option of this a naga and a few other mice to look at which I did from reviews. so lets clear the air about this mouse. Pros Comfortable and extremely Comfortable like I can't explain unless you use it!. DPI is brilliant with surface control. buttons feel 100% better than naga and are more responsive. Cons software to program buttons is too much to get it to do so with no default 1-12 binds, you gotta make them. in general, the software for the mouse is terrible but it doesn't outway how good the mouse is. overall the mouse is fantastic if you are looking for a replacement for gaming or any general needs this mouse is fantastic. a lot of reviews said the buttons are small unless you have hands the size of tables the buttons are fine and my previous naga usage helped to use them fine. I would recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a new gaming mouse and accurate one at that.

Best mouse I've owned
I've used 100's of different mice over the years, not all of them gaming mice. This is a bit weird in the hand for the first couple of days, but a good few hours of extended use will have it feeling natural. The sensor is amazing, I've been playing about on different surfaces and the feel of the mouse remains the same thanks to the large sliders. You are best having a play in the software, out of the box it felt very off and strange, the X,Y speed was either too fast or too slow. after some tweaking it's perfect. The customizable functions were a LOT more than I was expecting. And very happy that the side buttons are adjustable. I use multiple machines and am really surprised with the portable profile function, this now means I'm choosing to move this mouse to the machine I'm working on rather than using a standard mouse that's already plugged in. All in all, wary of the issues others have reported, but thoroughly pleased with this mouse.

This is a good product.
This is a bad product. I got this as replacement for my Razer Naga Trinity. At first I was impressed with the overall look and feel, however as I kept discovering it, I was getting more disappointed and annoyed and even frustrated with it. Summary: • Feels very good and the look is just jaw dropping, especially when RGB starts up. • Cable was too stiff and USB unnecessarily big. Tag and cable strap stand out too much. • Software was ok, although I found it queer that you download the software individually, depending on your product. • As a World of Warcraft player, I found it really difficult to set up the keybinds. On Naga, it’s alredy preset and you are all ready to go. I did not really appreciate the effort that I had to put in, it should have been already sorted. • The side buttons, beside being wobbly, were very laggy. I’m talking like anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds at times! This made it pretty much unplayable and I’m talking about casual questing, forget about raids/arenas or what ever. Corsair Scimitar Pro is used by many World of Warcraft players, yet I find it unacceptable. Best of luck, perhaps your experience will be better than mine. A mouse with a great potential but poor execution. I guess I’m going back to Naga, unless I try some other product. Edit: After returning to gaming, I once again went with tho mouse over Razer Naga and it still seems to have the same issue where the buttons on the side were unresponsive a lot if the time. I am however ready to think that the issue may not be so much because if the mouse (physically it’s amazing), but software. Nevertheless a good mouse.

Nice mouse, usual durability issues
While it's working, a very nice mouse, very happy with it with regard to comfort, accuracy and looks although the multiple thumb buttons turned out to be better on paper for me at least as I found them uncomfortable and awkward to use and a pain to program, probably due to my large hands long fingers, and limited patience. As a result have long since stopped bothering with them. Mainly though, it does only get three stars due to durability issues. First Scimitar lasted under a year when middle mouse button broke and no longer clicked (notch action disappeared at same time). Replacement has lasted better, just over two years and middle button still going strong but has now randomly started double clicking (two months out of warranty which is a shame). Obviously I realise this is hardly a unique problem with this model or make of mouse but disappointing nonetheless considering the price. Doesn't apear to be a dirt issue, have yet to open it up to see if the switches can be at least temporarily fixed. It's clearly on the way out though. Maybe optical switches are the way to go although as far as I am aware Corsair have yet to use them in any of their models.

Wieso so viel DPI??
