I am disappointed with quality of the thread that makes the bottom part of the pen get loose. The pen does not fall apart however it does get loose indeed. This little, yet quite annoying fault does not affect recording quality in any way though. The quality of recorded sound is average, I would say acceptable and sufficient for a small and cheap recording device like this one. The use manual print is so small I had to support myself with a magnifying glass to read it. The instruction is easy to understand and pen easy to use. The flashing lights signals may be a bit confusing at first. All in all this pen is a good value for money. It does what it is supposed to do. As far as esthetics are concerned, this product is quite eye-pleasing. It is slightly larger than an average pen. The colour of the pen is black, not metallic silver as advertised. The quality of the product could have been a bit better but this is what you get when the product is being manufactured in China.

Instructions not very clear you need glasses to read them or a magnifier glass !!

The sound is brilliant. Does the work well.
