Will the 5ah battery be ok for use with this drill?

All lxt serie tools from makita are compatible with 3 4 5 6 ah battery And yes, this drill is lxt. It is heavy But powerful! Avoid batteries with White Cap cause They are not compatible, But they are not available in 5ah so you can not go wrong!

Does it have variable speed button
