Adheres well to helmets which may not be designed for this mounting.Can adhere to undulating surfaces on safety helmets successfully. Top marks, however the price is high for what the item is!

Well made Petzl product.
As with all the Petzl items I have purchased, it is well made. I found that this mount is basically a must if you have a visor fitted to your helmet (I use a Vertex) and you want the visor to completely clear the helmets rim when not down and in use (the helmet mounting which came with the Petzl pixa 1 was fine but the visor was below the helmet rim by 10mm+). It's not cheap for what it is but it attached easily and fixes firmly so should definitely be a one of cost on this helmet!.

Expensive but high quality
Expensive but high quality item, specifically for fitting a petzl torch to a petzl helmet when a visor is installed, although it could also be attached to any other brand of helmet.

Design optimised for Petzl helmets
Nothing wrong with the adapter other than it is really intended for use with Petzl helmets. Didn’t fit with my Diamond and so had to return.
