Is the 10cm x 10cm x 10cm size correct? Seems very little??? Please reply quickly as I am very interested in purchasing. Could I order on the phone?

Hi, would be very small. No, without a tape measure I would say it is about 70cm high, 40cm wide and about 30cm deep.It is a fantastic fire. Mine is on at the moment, not noticable with the tv on and gives out superb heat.This fire has it all. Nice looking, safe for kids and low on electric. Hope it helps

Can anyone post a video please? I am worried if flame looks "fake". Is it "optiflame" or "optimyst" (Dimplex names). Any thoughts?

It is Optiflame. The flame looks very realistic. I spent an embarrassing amount of time in B&Q with my ex, when we were shopping for a stove...I am very fussy, and wanted to make sure the flames looked as realistic as possible (without spending hundreds of pounds). The flame effect eventually stopped working, and even though I don't have much money, I ordered another Dimplex Tango as I like it so much! When I get around to writing a review, I will try and put a video on, but I doubt it will do it justice, taken with a tablet.

If the cable is not long enough to reach a socket, would it be safe to use an extension lead?

Nearly burnt my house 🏠 down used with extention lead smelt like kippers cooking checked to find the plug had melted into the wall socket

Does this stove plug in with a standard 3-pin plug into a normal plug socket, or does it need to be hard-wired?

Just plug in , good to go in a 13 amp socket . No need for extra wiring .
