The skiptooth blade will get into a thick coat more easily than the full tooth, so this would be my suggestion. David Noakes, Diamond Edge Ltd.

An Andis 3 & 3/4 FC blade leaves the hair 13mm long. I would also suggest you buy Andis Cool Care spray as this is a very good coolant and disinfectant for the blades.

The 4FC blade has a length of about 9mm. If you want to leave the coat 3/4" long, I would suggest either the 3 3/4FC (13mm), or the 5/8HT blades which will leave the coat closer to this length. David Noakes, Diamond Edge Ltd.

Yes, it does. We have Heiniger clippers in our salon and we use Andis 7FC blades with them.
