Multi-purpose superior quality oil.
I have been using this jar of coconut oil for two years and only now it's time to order a replacement - excellent value for money. The oil is pure of superior quality and has a multitude of uses. I did try using it as a hair treatment as a warm mask before washing my hair, but in my case I found it made my hair greasy no matter how well and long I shampooed and rinsed. It did make my hair softer but this was only apparent after three hair washes in three days. I either used too much or maybe it is better suited for thicker hair. I always use it if I have dry lips and in this case I get immediate results. I also used it as a moisturiser for knees, elbows and hands (a monthly treatment). I only need to use a very small amount at a time, it absorbs quickly, makes the skin softer and it does smell really nice. I have used it as a face moisturiser after clay cleaning face masks which dry my skin. I also used it for oil pulling treatment - for a week at a time once or every two months. It doesn't whiten your teeth but it makes them shinier and I tried this method for supposed detoxifying benefits not as a teeth whitening treatment. I also used it to clean my dog's teeth. My dog dislikes all doggy toothpastes and a specialist canine dentist told me the dog toothpaste has no particular benefits but it is important the actual mechanical action of brushing the teeth to remove plaque. So I tried coconut oil thinking it can't harm my dog and it would entice him to let me brush his teeth. It worked really well so now my dog gets really excited when he sees the Lucy Bee coconut oil jar! I will continue to use this product and it has become one of my household staples because it is a pure natural product, it has a variety of uses and it is very reasonably priced. Once you start using it, you will rely on it for a variety of purposes.

Great Coconut Oil
I used to only cook with extra virgin olive oil but switched for health. EVOO is great, but I use less coconut oil for the same job. CO tends to burn less than butter or some EVOOs, tastes great, and makes me feel fuller. Depending on which science you believe CO is either awesome for your health or the worst thing ever. I believe the modern research on coconut oil, which takes into account its fatty acid chain. CO is a medium-chain fatty acid, so it is easier to digest and metabolise for energy. It also tends to make you feel full. This has good implications for folks struggling to loose weight, provided it is your primary source of fat and you cook with it in moderation. There is research to suggest it promotes weight loss, and I personally think it does. CO also contains lauric acid and trace amounts of caprylic acid; these are antiviral / antifungal and support immune function. All that said, CO isn't guaranteed to help with anything and could raise cholesterol in some folks but lower in others -depends on you and your consumption of it, other fats, and overall diet. Still, I think it can be beneficial for most people who start using it as their go to fat, keep it to a minimum (plus or minus 2 tbsp/day, depending on your health), and eat other fats very sparingly -including very lean meats but full fat milk products; yes, eat full-fat organic milk/cheese/unsweetened organic yogurt but way, way less... skim leaves out nutrients we need. Just monitor your cholesterol and weight and see how you do with any dietary changes you make. By the way, if you are new to coconut consumption, take note of what is and isn't healthy. Plain unadulterated coconut water is one of the best every day drinks for health -it is superior for hydration. Pro athletes know its better than crappy, unhealthy gatorade type products. Down side is it isn't cheap, but if you can drink a cup every other day, do so. It is replenishes lost electrolytes your body needs. The kind in the cans I can't stand, and if they have sugar and chemicals they are not healthy at all. The plain 100% pure CW in tetra packs are best. Coconut milk and cream is very tasty but not healthy and very good for gaining weight -leave that for your occasional splurge on Thai food... yum! Coconut meat or flakes without sugar and chemicals is OK. Last FYI... good coconut oil should be solid and white at room temperature but liquid if you live in a very hot climate. It will start to melt the minute you spoon it out and mix it in something or put in a warm pan. Also, you shouldn't need to refrigerate the jar of coconut oil after opening. I don't recommend coconut oil that is liquid when you buy it -unless it's because the climate is so hot -because if it is always liquid, it isn't pure coconut oil.

It arrived on time and jar was professionally packaged. I would be buying from them again and would recommend this to anyone. It's real original product, authentic just the same way it appears here on Amazon. Am really impressed by LUCY BEE's Product, although this is my first time buying from them.
