NUK Food Cube Tray with Lid for Freezing Baby Food | 6 Months+ | Dishwasher Safe | BPA Free(Pack of 1)

I dont normally come to the things I've bought just to review but for this i make an exception. The portion sizes are perfect. Especially for my now 17 month old. We have been using these a long while now (approx 6 or 7 months old). There's no staining after making chilli, butter chicken, curry or bolognese. Cleans great, pops out easy. Makes BLW a dream and life much easier with batch cooking. I wouldn't recommend it for things like fruit purees. I think a smaller one is better for that like a 1oz or 30ml one. This is approx 60ml. At the moment i pop them out when frozen and keep using them for other batches but I've left a chilli batch in them for a while now and it's lasted so well I'm thinking of buying more and leaving them in it. It really does prevent frost damage in my experience (included a photo of said chilli). They even stack nice in the freezer. Highly recommend!!!

Following reviews on here, I purchased four of these to make batches of baby food, freeze, turn out the cubes into freezer bags and re use the trays for another batch. They are fantastic! They have not stained despite being used for lots of orange food (sweet potato, beef ragu, mango, carrot etc) which seems to stain everything else! They wash very easily, turn out very easily with no residue left behind, have kept their shape and are easy to store as they stack inside one another, and the cube size is ideal - now my baby is eating more i mix and match cubes of meat casserole cubes with veggie puree cubes. Whats more, when i was researching which food cube trays to buy, these were pretty reasonable. These have been a great investment for my family and i use them every week.

Great to use to freeze batch cooked baby purees. Portion size is great to start with and you can use 2 or more blocks as baby gets bigger. Product feels good quality and frozen food blocks are easy to get out when frozen. Only problem - lid doesn't clip on or secure in any way. I understand why - freezing food expands... but still it means that you have to faff to keep the whole lot flat and supported as you put in the freezer. Not easy if your freezer is small and even slightly full already. But overall, a great product and essential for anyone weaning using purees at all.

I like the product and does what it says. Initially I have ordered one when I weaned my son and eventually ordered one more because I am satisfied with it. One portion size is good enough for a baby. I now use two portions for my son as his appetite has increased with his age and activity. Easy for me to cook and freeze any thing I like. I have used it for hot food containing oil/butter - so far so good. I will buy it again. The only downside is the lid. It doesn't stay put, kind of useless actually. Hence 4 stars. It would be good if lid will be improved. Overall, good value for money.

I really love these cube trays. I bought two and once the cubes of food are frozen, I dispense them into freezer bags and label them and then reuse the cube tray for the next meal prep. In the end you can have a really good stash of baby/toddler food that you just need to heat up and serve. The trays are sturdy and the lids stay on well so liquid food doesn't spill into your freezer but they are durable enough to empty the frozen contents really easily. They also wash well in the dishwasher. Portion size is good for a baby but even now that my toddlers are older, I still use them but use a couple of cubes instead. I have recommended them to my sister who also loves them too.

This has been a great little purchase. I'm weaning my daughter at the moment. We're on "mashes" (rather than purees). My system is, cook, portion to eat, freeze the rest. Divide into this food cube tray, freeze for 24hrs, decant into labelled ziplock bags... And I'm recording on my phone how many portions of everything I have, so that I can start combining them. The NUK food tray is fantastic for this. Nice, generous 60ml cubes. Food comes out very easily. Cleans well. Dishwasher safe, on the top shelf. Great little purchase! And when I'm done with it for weaning, it'll make great giant ice cubes for whiskey!

Great, no longer needed for baby anymore but was great. I now use it as a ice cube tray. Works really well. No struggle to get the ice/frozen food out. For ice now I only need 1 cube for a drink which is much nicer as you don't have multiple pieces of ice flying around when you try to take a sip of your drink. The ice seems to last a long time as it is much larger than your average ice cube

These are excellent. So far I have frozen all sorts of veg and fruit and they are a decent size. I bought two to batch cook but you only really need one as once the food is frozen, which doesn't take long, you just pop them out and place them into a freezer bag. I am not sure why some people are having trouble getting the food out because I find it VERY easy every time. You just need to push the food from the bottom and peel the sides, no force needed or sticking of food. Really pleased with these, super buy, especially for the price.
