My partner is from the Bahamas and he grew up using this. He is making oxtail later and this along with ginger and ground allspice is central to this fabulous meal that I love.

I’m addicted to seasonings and sauces and I’m always trying out new ones. I had seen this on American tv shows so thought I’d give it a try and I’m really glad I did because it’s my favourite of all the seasoned salts I’ve tried. It’s really flavourful and it will elevate anything you put it on. Use it sparingly at first until you know how much you need as it is salty. I’ve only just received it so I tried it on my scrambled eggs and then on my steak and it was amazing. I’m going to try some on pineapple because I like sweet and salty and would usually use Tajin but I think this will be better. I also don’t mind paying a premium for something that’s been imported as I realise it comes with an added cost. The only thing I was unhappy about was it’s only got 4 months best before date. Usually seasonings have a couple of years on so I’m thinking this was old stock stuck on a shelf somewhere. At the moment it’s fine because it hasn’t affected the flavour but it probably means I’ll have to replace it sooner rather than later.

This makes everything taste amazing! It is versatile and can be used to season meat, potatoes, eggs and more. Obviously it is really expensive as it is imported but worth every penny.
