No but if it's on full volume then it does but if your in a noisy environment then it's difficult for others to hear what your listening to which is a good thing overall these headphones are the best and worth the price at first when I bought them I thought they were fake which they are not and are pure real and the sound so brilliant you can even get apps from the App Store in your iphone which is called beautifyer which I normally listen to my music on and it sounds so good on the headphones with or without the app so I give these headphones 10/10 and if you don't like them you could always sell them or give them back! ;) x

In the product details it says that the headphones require 1 Lithium ion battery is this a typo if not where does the battery go?

My earphones do not take any batteries, but they are plug in and not wireless.
