C-Shell 50/CLAMCLR12CM Genuine CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Storage Cases, Clear, 50 pack

C-Shell cases are marked as such - these are not.The plastic is thinner therefore; they don't close without gaps, are much more flimsy, hinge doesn't look like it will last long and the securing ring in the middle can be tight meaning more pressure and ultimately stressing the case for potential early failure.Not genuine - seek real items and check that they are marked as these ones are quoted genuine but appear not.

These covers do not fully close so do not offer any protection from dust or foreign matter.In order to ensure they are secure, they would have to be taped with sellotape or similar.I would rate these as inadequate at best.

I use these for protecting Back-up dvd's of my photos and video's. They do not need all the facilities of other cases, only to protect the DVD from collateral damage while being stored.

A very nice well made product. I have had a number of cheap cases and find these to be the best ones and will use them again.The case is held closed in the middle, this is a little strange to get used to but works very well and is secure.The cases are strong plastic but not ridged so have a nice level of flex this is perfect for shipping discs as the case will not crack.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple and affordable way protect individual discs.

I bought these because of the amount of CD cases that are lying around broken and/or cracked. My Husband tried one and it snapped in his hands. I "donated" the rest to a local charity shop.

I have a few of these cases obtained from promotional discs and find them most useful. I have bought this bundle of 50 so I can transfer lots of CDs/DVDs into them and therefore save a LOT of space. Also, if one creates CDs/DVDs with printed labels there is no need to waste ink printing case covers, as the labels can be seen through these cases, see my attached photo.

These are a terrible design.They do not fit around a CD or DVD properly and it allows dust to get in. I got these to try for my printed DVD covers that I make for customised photo albums for clients. Lucky I tested them first as when they close it is to tight meaning the print on the CD's can get scratched off.Not a good design at all.

I do not like righting poor reviews ,but the quality of these shell cases is very poor indeed . they might look ok until you put a dvd in them and then you find they don't close properly or stay shut and when they do shut ,one side gapes open. stay well clear is my advise .
