Its legally about 2.5 years, but most likely it will see you through until the next ice age.

Does this product contain preservatives?

No. In fact it is the only fish sauce in the world that doesn't (as far as i know!) It ONLY contains wild black anchovies and sea salt.......nothing else!

Are there any health benefits to this product?

It is high in protein..... But also high in salt. It is an artisanal product, but is really for seasoning food......

Can I use this product as a flavor enhancer to bolognese pasta?

Yes this product is pure instant umami.
