As long as the track is hornby then yes

How does this connect to the hornby controller power supply? Do the cables come with it to connect ?

Modern contollers have a 2 pin plug that fits into the power connecting track. If you have an older type controller with power take offs on the rear Hornby do make power connecting leads with bullet type connectors on one end which should fit.

Does this track come with additional cable(s)?

unfortunately it does not. it is only the power track sorry
