59 ml Duraclear Poly U Varnish, Gloss

Absolutely Brilliant for rock / pebble painting to go outside. Make sure your acrylic paint is well and truly dry and set before varnishing, I leave them a good 24 hours before varnishing. Nice high shine finish after 3 coats on top of the Acrylic paints I use. Touch dry and able to give a re coat in 10 minutes then leave for 24 to 48 hours to set rock hard. Ran product under tap and water just beads off and even with a good rub its doesn't shift! Perfectly weatherproof for the rocks to go outside. No nasty strong odors like you get with other varnishes so I am able to varnish inside without stinking out the house. Its a brush on solution and my only advice is to brush it very thinly to begin with in one direction and any lettering a quick brush over is best.....let first coat dry for 10 to 15 mins...then you can apply and slop it on as thick you wish. I found that if I applied a thick coat first, any lettering / outlining in paint pens will bleed ever so slightly. Problem solved by being sparing with the first top coat. Wonderful stuff! I will order a much larger bottle from now on tho. One little 2oz pot covered 46 large Scottish cobbles with three coats each.

Great varnish which I used over acrylic paints on rocks. Worked well dried quickly with a smooth finish. Can fit a small paintbrush in the bottle so ideal to minimise mess or in my case to avoid toddler sticking his fingers in it. We've done three medium size rocks and still plenty of varnish left.

It has coated well two coats and I was happy with the piece, on further inspection it does seem to leave a yellow tone in some places but not a big problem to me as it’s not very noticeable

Items received in good condition. This product goes a long way to say it is a small size. I have used this before and pleased with results.

Lovely vanish, and easy to use. My kids like painting stones and this gives a lovely finish

I used this product to help fix some water decals on my guitar. The small side bottle is cost effective and worked well, a good service and delivery considering it came from America.

Ordered this for varnishing painted stones, the product is ok, but it took 3 weeks to arrive (coming from USA) and when it did the top was loose so some of the varnish had leaked inside the bag. Its a tiny bottle to begin with……….. ! Will try to order similar product from Uk next time
