I'm using this cable to connect my iMac through a HRT Microstreamer to M-Audio BX5 D2 Powered Monitor Speakers . It appears to be well made and I have no issues with the sound. Good value for money.

Computer to JBL Speakers
Got these to connect my JBL LSR305 MK2’s to my computer directly. Not gonna win any awards but they do work, and for £6 it’s pretty good going. Using the cable with a phone is fine, although plugged into the computer it does carry some component noise. Will be looking into a DAC in the future. EDIT: DAC (Focusrite Scarlett Solo) worth it - cut out all the noise from the computer.

No Fuzzy noises
with my previous cable i could always hear fuzziness when playing music, but with this the problem is gone and the sound quality is great.

Works with Kemper profiler
I use it with my Kemper Powerhead profiler. I connect it to my laptop using this cable so I can both practice my guitar playing and listen to the song I'm learning simultaneously through my headphones

These cables can last for years if you plug them in and leave them, but if continually unplugging etc the inner wires loose contact.

On the one hand, you can get no-name cabling for less money, or get the soldering iron out and roll your own. On the other hand, you could outfit your entire studio with ultra-high end gold plated boutique cabling. Or you can do what I learned to do over the decades, and just get Hosa cables for your day-to-day needs. They won't break the bank, they sound great, they last for years, and they make any audio cable/connector combination that you can think of. I got this particular cable for a Roland Boutique synth. But their stereo 1/4" cables of various lengths are the bread and butter of my studio and live cabling needs. Hosa is always reliable and reasonably priced, and I recommend them.
