Excellent product but make sure you have the right tools
This is such a great piece of kit, I will say it took me about 4 hours to construct together, change the code and everything, but theres no way of getting round that, its proper DIY, you will need a 25mm hole cutter drillbit, and a hacksaw/junior hacksaw to cut down the bolts to fit the width of your door. The template guide given worked perfectly though,Also the instructions were in perfect English BUT I will just say to the makers, you need to update your instructions, its clear these were like a first draft as youve left notes of wording to update and amend in the instructions for next version haha, quite unprofessional but oh well, figured it all out, and the design is really nice to look and looks much more expensive than it was.Great product, very sturdy, and as a locking mechnaism it works really well and smoothly.

Good quality
Very sturdy material and heavy. The instructions are easy to follow..It can be adjusted to different thickness just need to cut screws and the handle turning.not sure if I understand how to change the code however I just left it as it was by default (each unit different code).Done it for a friend so didn't have time to take a picture

Great works well. Very pleased.
I've fitted one of these and just ordered another. When fitted the lock is excellent. Easy operation and feels very solid secure. The only reason for not 5 star is the instruction are not always 100 per cent clear, but didn't cause any problems during fitting and operation. Considering a third for another door. The fitting went fine and I'm very pleased with how snug the lock is and how solid the operation is.I note on the new lock I have just ordered, a sticker highlights part of the process for changing the code (you have to press the C button whilst changing the "keys") I understand it is easy to damage the lock if you do not follow this step. If you can't pull the "keys" out with the supplied tweezers, it might be a faulty unit (I had one, but swiftly replaced).

Great mechanical lock!
I wanted a lock for my boiler room, which also doubles up as my server room. As the room houses expensive equipment, I thought it wise to add a little protection in the form of a lock. Originally, I was going to put in a key-operated lock, whether it be a mortice or a deadbolt, but the only drawback was that I'd always have to have a key with me to open/close the lock, so after a little searching for alternatives I discovered this little gem!Granted, it may not be the cheapest of locks, or the easiest set of instructions to decipher, but the convenience of securing a room without having a separate key, as well as the build quality, is well worth it in my opinion. What I did not want is for the lock to replace my existing door handle, so after asking a few questions on Amazon, I decided to install the lock above the existing door handle, about half way up.The lock is well built and sturdy, and the instructions include a drilling template, which makes installation a lot easier. There's about six 10mm holes to drill in total - 2 for the fixing bolts, and 4 along the bottom in a row to help clear a slot for the spindles.Never having previously installed a lock before, nor having amazing DIY skills, I took a shot of installing this myself, and it's really not as hard as you might think! Unboxing the item and finding all of the different parts to install this lock was the most daunting task, especially to the unexperienced, but once you've made sense of where everything goes and what certain bits are for, it's all very straight forward. Be aware that there are fixing bolts and spindles that manually need cutting down to size, depending on the thickness of your door, so you may need some extra cutting tools, such as a saw, to help accomplish this.In conclusion, it's a great mechanical lock and I'm very happy as to the protection it offers, the build quality, and how it looks and feels on my door.

Tricky to fit not suitable for a External door as was first described.
27th Nov 19 I bought the Arrone AR/D-195MC Digital Push Button Door Key Pad Lock in Silver in December 18 for a rear external garage access door that gets used 6-8 times per week. It took quite a bit of time and patience to fit correctly probably 3-4hrs to a exterior door the instructions says it is suitable for. Fitting times will obviously depend on the type of door. The instructions are at times vague, in relation to changing the key code particularly if your not mechanically minded. I sat down read the instructions thoroughly before taking the back off to change the code. Only one of the three holes are actually needed that go right the way through the door, the second hole only need go half way through which become apparent as one gets familiar with how the lock mechanism works. Obviously the more holes you drill in any door will weaken it. The bolt section instructions say to use 25mm bit but I think you could use smaller to make a snug more secure fit. When fitting the bolt section it would be useful to have a second person sight along the side of the drill to make sure your are level and not drilling slightly up or down. Anyway the lock has now been fitted for nearly 11 months I've now discovered that it is not weather proof as it was originally advertised. This was a requirement when I bought it. It does look good but the lock has now jammed and I cannot release it due to internal condensation causing binding rust. I see Amazon has now changed their outside advertising text for this lock because it is clearly not suitable for an External door. I have now had a refund from Amazon and replaced it with a weather proof Borg lock that isa very similar in design. I used the same holes drilled in the door but the new lock cost nearly three times as much but worth it if it does the job without being locked out.
