My go-to tyres for decent rolling with puncture resistance
These roll well and are fantastic year-round tyres. I have ridden them nearly 6000km in the last 12 months in all weathers and have been puncture-free. They are not the lightest and I’m not a racer, but as an all-rounder for commuting and longer/club rides I’m very pleased.

Good Autumn/ Winter tyre
Bought these as a replacement for some gatorskins. Used a few times so far and they certainly feel quicker whilst still providing good puncture protection.

Amazing grip
Don't understand how a slick tyre can be so grippy, but these are amazing. Used in most weather conditions and on most road surfaces, and apart from being a little bit bumpy (using 28s), no complaints at all.

Possibly the GOAT of puncture resistant tyres
I have used this tyre on road bikes at 25, 28 and now 32 mm for 7 yrs probably. It has performed exceptionally well especially in autumn / winter conditions. Does it have the best rolling resistance? I don't know and I don't care. I just don't want to be stuck on the edge of a country lane, especially in autumn/winter, changing a tyre! Since I have started using the 32mm tyre, I am also using TPU tubes. The wider tyre and TPU tubes is definitely the way forward.

Punctures to begin with...
My second pair of these tyres. The tyre repeatedly pinched the inner tube when first fitted, resulting in a couple of punctures, but it seems to have settled downn ok now.

Great Winter Tyre
Used them as a winter tyre for 15 years, and they are great in the wet and cold weather.

fabulous performance for all year round riding
not quite the rolling resistence of GP5000s but the added wet weather grip and puncture protection make these the goto tyre for social riding and commuting.

On my first ride I was nervous doing so but it was worth it having the confidence to take it anywhere. I deliberately took every pothole in my area and gone over some glass, these tires never got a puncture which means I could go on longer rides having that in mind while being careful though. They grip very well in sand (edit but not thick sand just a thin layer) and wet roads aswell. Would buy them again.

Bought these for added protection. I ride 25 miles a day on various conditions of dry/wet/stones/thorns/glass. Tread is not much, but my hope is it is enough for the wet conditions. Smooth ride even with the tread. Wish they had directional information to provide peace of mind on the water shedding aspect. Update: 2-months and my first flat. The tread had a big gash about the second week. It did not go through then it lasted another 1.5 months before the flat so guess the high TPI worked. Retrospect, I would probably save the money and buy a thicker walled tire. The thin wall would be nice for racing or something, but not worth it for commute. Tread is just enough to help stop sliding under wet conditions. Update: 6-months and several flats later. Every tire will get a flat so not too worried about that. My back tire is really worn and the front is looking pretty good. I need to rotate them (should have done sooner) to even the wear. The side-wall gash in the second week was in my front tire. Now the back has a 1/4" long gash that went through and cause several flats until I found it. Installed a vulcanizing patch on the inside of the tire and has held for the last two weeks. I just bought a less expensive tire (1/2 this price) but will wait until these can do no more to compare. Still a good tire, but if any tire will have problems, might as well save a little money.

I purchased these tires for our tandem road bike. I went with the 32 mm width to replace the old 25 mm. Huge improvement in ride quality. At the same pressure, the bike handles much better and is much smoother going over bumps. The tires themselves are very high quality. Our old tires were Continental Gatorskins which we ran for two years with zero flats. The Grand Prix 4 Seasons have much 'stickier' rubber and I'm more confident cornering at higher speeds. Great tires that work well on a tandem bike. I will update this review over the season.
