Well made and very easy to read and reset after checking overnight temperatures etc;The remote sensor is handy and can be placed in various postions as neededDon't know how they do it at this price as the Zeal units are extremely accurate and definitely worth trying ! Great product that beats the "spirit " and glass tubing types any day of the week ..... as most of these types have failed with the MAX/ MIN reset button failing after a couple of seasons ! Buy with confidence !

The internal temperature shows as external and vice versa.We doubt the reading is correct.

Usable but my copy is inaccurate and inconsistent, though only by small amounts. The probe and the main unit do not read the same temperature even when left in the same place, also out by about a degree. Plastic case is a little fragile, but otherwise unit is fine, max/min and all controls work well and seems happy in cold environments.When measured against other thermometers the readings do differ a bit. As a greenhouse thermometer to get a rough idea of temps in the greenhouse it's ok.

Great bit of kit. When using outside, the display is hard to read in sunlight, but I'm happy with it.

So far i'm very happy with this. I did want one of the old mercury min/max thermometers like i've always had but nobody seems to use murcury these days so i've joined the 20th century and got this. It's pretty accurate, i ran it alongside a different one that i've had for years to test it. It even has an alarm that you can set for high or low limits, wow ! I have gone high tech. Now i've got the probe in my propagator so i can see the temp in there and the temp in the room so it's even better than the old mercury type.

My wireless indoor outdor themometer remote unit started playing up and giving absurd readings as this is the second such item to fail I searched through the reviews and found that most of the wireless remote units fail.I decided to buy this one. Checking with old fashioned thermometers it seems pretty accurate. The only problem is that the lead is too short and so the sensor has to dangle down my west facing wall. This means that it will be useless in the afternoons when the sun is on the wall. However as I mainly want to know the temperature in the Winter when I wake up I can live with that. I just wish they had longer sensor leads.

I bought this thermometer for use in a greenhouse initially so I could adjust the automatic vents based on the Max and Min temperature readings. I found it works well and is simple to use. The external probe lead is about 2m long so can be run outside to monitor external air temperature. No humidity feature but well made and excellent value.
