Stylish and makes great coffee.
We love our three-cup bialetti. It works perfectly on our new induction hob and makes great coffee. Easy to clean, easy to use, we would definitely recommend it if you have an induction hob.

Good for induction hobs
Had to get this as I changed to an induction hob. Works well and makes great coffee, just as good as the old skool aluminium type.

Purchase was influenced by looks not practicality
A beautiful item, but unfortunately as the shape narrows at the base, it’s too small to fit over the flame on both the gas hobs at home and also my campervan - have since purchased the same brand with the wider base and can’t fault it.

Good choice for one person (one mug or two expresso shots)
My preferred way of making coffee. Delivers best output compared to other mechanisms and easy to wash

Health Safety Hazard concern
I have a very big concern about this coffee maker. I filled the water (without coffee ground) and boiled it for at least 3 times and the water poured out still has little black suspended particles (pic 3). And even I have cleaned it for several times, the bottom of the pot is still very dirty (pic 1) and you can still see the black colour thing at the bottom rim. The pot is very difficult to clean. I have a very big concern if it will lead to any health issue if I drink the coffee made out of this maker.

works well with my induction
After moving to induction, needed a new Moka Pot. I had a similar trusty design for 20 years for my gas stove, so I got the kitty for the shape. Works well on my induction cooktop and I use it nearly every day and like the results.A few notes: I have a Thermador Liberty induction cooktop. I fill it with hot water and set the power to 6.5 (of 10) and that seems to work well. Some tutorials said to start on low, but that didn't work for me. With my old one, I tamped the grounds a bit, no tamping on this one or it struggles to push the water through. I have gotten best results on my old burr grinder with a grind just a bit finer than drip. The finest setting was too fine.

Well-made moka pot, good for induction, enough for a single cup of coffee. Read on!
This size of Bialetti is adequate for a single cup of coffee. The terminology associated with moka pots is confusing -- 50ml is considered "one espresso shot" (made from about 20ml of beans). You should understand the claim that this pot makes "4 cups" is based on four "espresso shots" of 50ml each. The moka pot does not create "espresso", which can by definition be created only by a high-pressure system at several times our atmospheric pressure. But the result of using a Bialetti pot is still good, especially if you grind fresh beans. This model works with induction -- coffee is ready in about 4 minutes.

Hiccup in original order - exchange was fine
Throughly enjoying the coffee maker, i recommend the coffee be filtered again after it is removed from heat for a cleaner taste. i use mine on induction stove and all is good.
