Superb
What a superb product. Very easy to assemble with a little help, clear instructions. Very very sturdy. Operation is very smooth and almost silent. Great item. Also worth mentioning the delivery agent, ArrowXL who were excellent, great communications.

Great for beginners
Good machine for a beginner, stride length is no where near a gym crosstrainer. Took about 30 minutes to build , tension wire is a little tricky, another set of hands makes life easier. Basic programmes for distance etc , overall I would say a good little machine for the cost.

Good value for money
Excellent cross trainer very pleased with it. Relatively easy to put together but it did take my son three hours to complete it but even he uses it sometimes! I am increasing the amount of time I go on it daily. I have had cross trainers in the past but ended up getting rid of them but I will be keeping this one. Delivered a week earlier than expected which was a bonus.

Looks over quality
A few issues with this product. First it arrived with some cosmetic scuffs on the body(was offered a partial Amazon credit of £45 for this, which was accepted for full transparency). Most important issue however is that after only about an hour of use not one but two(!!!) factory fitted bolts popped out of the arm/pedal joint. These are the connections that hold the arms in place in the pedal struts and it’s happened on both sides. I have refitted and tightened and will see how it goes but certainly has knocked confidence in the safety of the machine. Other than that potential safety issue there are a few other issues with this machine: - The assembly is doable but the instructions are terrible although they do have a reasonable, if a bit basic, YouTube guide online. If you’re not particularly strong/able there is an awkward section when fitting the upper section of the machine that would be best to have a second pair of hands available for. - The stride length is very short and I’m not particularly tall, if your sub 5’5 or something I guess it might be passable but definitely compare to others before buying. - The supports are not particularly wide which, while great for space saving, can cause instability if you’re attempting any exercise of above average intensity. Certainly wouldn’t be suitable for HIIT training or similar. - Even from the first use there is a clicking noise from the flywheel on every rotation which while not incredibly loud is enough to be annoying if you aren’t using earphones for music/television or however you like to pass time while working out. Overall there are some parts that look great, the grips and other parts around the top of the machine look substantial and of decent quality but that’s about where the plus points end as it seems to be style over substance. I had hoped to have finally found a decent bit of exercise kit for sub £500 but it seems another disappointment, better to save for a couple of months and buy something more likely to be useful. Unsurprisingly I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Lubricate for silent use!
There are no instructions in the box but a quick online search found full assembly and operating instructions. No problem to assemble, the spanners and screwdriver needed are in the box and it fits nicely under our open stairway. There is a choice of 3 different distances away from the poles to fix the footplates but nothing else adjusts. My husband, myself and 14 year old daughter all find it easy and comfortable to use and the computerised display can be personalised for up to 8 users. The display is A5 sized and has a handy ledge you can put a tablet or phone on. The only problem we had was an annoying crunching squeak coming from inside the casing. After removing the casing (this part is ready assembled when it arrives), I was able to use a combination of 3 in 1 oil and lubricant grease on all the wheel axis joints and, hey presto, no noise at all! We are very pleased with our purchase, excellent value for money, don't be afraid to open and lubricate if necessary.

Good quality BASIC, small cross trainer only for smaller individuals and occasional use
This is a small, well built but very limited cross trainer with only a manual tension dial. For about £200 delivered and 3 hours assembly, I was so disappointed. I was charmed by an array of good reviews and anticipated the performance of my old York Aspire model. Its my fault; I should have researched the model better before purchase. The tension is set by tightening a manual dial. The battery operated display offers choices but no programs. If you are over 5ft 6 in I recommend you try before you buy as the step length is very short. Metal parts are good quality. Plastic less so. Instructions for assembly are good but with some errors. Assembling plastic bits is very awkward. I wish I had a bought a second hand cross trainer with a bigger step and proper programs. I am male 5ft 10 in and regret this purchase although smaller and lighter individuals who only wish to have occasional use may well disagree.

I love my cross-trainer !
I decided to purchase this cross-trainer after reading many reviews from Amazon customers and testers unanimous saying it was the best cross-trainer under 200 GBP, it is my first cross-trainer, I'm more than satisfied with it, I can confirm it's very sturdy, easy enough to assemble even for my husband and me, who aren't very gifted for it... It's very quiet, but it makes you really work out, I highly recommend the CT300, it is simple, without useless gadgets, it takes not too much place, I use it about 1 hour every day and I think it is made to last... Up date : about 2 years of use, I didn't have a real issue with my cross trainer but it seems that JLL has visibly lowered it's quality products since my purchase. Mine is ok but very squeaky. I use it 4/5 time a week... I will try WD 40 as recommended by some customers because contacting JLL seems to be useless nowadays. Sorry for the disappointed customers who bought this cross trainer after reading my review.
