Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: STUNNING!! - I can't praise this book enough, the story is good and is easy to follow and the main characters are fun and less brooding than the new 52 version's. The best thing about this comic is by far the art and colouring, it really is stunning! There are 2 artists collaborating (Otto Schmidt and Juan E Ferreyra) which do about half each, they have very similar styles and both artists do their own colouring. It's one of the best looking comic's out there and is rightfully one of the best series to come out of DC rebirth. Review: Better than expected - Bought a used copy. It arrived earlier than expected and is in excellent condition, looks brand new.

Back To His Routes
The peoples bowman returns in this reboot of the DC Universe better than ever. Combining all the best elements of previous incarnations of the emerald archer, the first volume of the Rebirth timeline, replacing its predecessor the New 52 is a delightful read combining Green Arrows best traits. Fans of the awful CW series will find the true Oliver Queen here and its a great jumping on point to the current continuity for new readers. And as with most comics, the art is absolutely incredible not a single miscommunication in visions, every movement is accurately stencilled and it delivers a beautiful visual to the brilliant story which won't be spoiled here.

On target
I never picked up any of the New52 Green Arrow series that preceded this one and I expected that the TV series had overshadowed/eclipsed any earlier Green Arrow I had history with. On top of that – I expected this ‘Rebirth’ to be a complete revamp or realignment with the TV series. It’s actually not quite either. There is the John Diggle character, of a type but it appears a different spin on the sister and the Black Canary (re)introduced here is more from the comics history than the TV. As such this book manages to blend everyone’s expectations of the Green Arrow and does a fine job of turning out an interesting and engaging series. The pacing is a little choppy, Oliver’s fall is remarkably quick and the artwork is fine but not as clean or as beautiful as I like and as other books so I’ve only awarded 4 stars but I still recommend the book.

Love the artstyle and the tone of this volume. The storyline also had some strong moments and some nice action scenes. Will continue reading the Arrow series if the colorful design stays.

Excelente comienzo para green arrow lo recomiendo para fans de antaño y para los nuevos. Lo único negativo es que el tomo no estaba perfecto, tenia detalles de dobleces en la portada, entre otros.

The New 52 Green Arrow never did much for my tastes. Even at its strongest, it just wasn't what I was looking for in a Green Arrow book. This book is clearly meant for me; like much of Rebirth, this story resets much of what the characters involved lost with the New 52. Oliver Queen very much feels like his old self again; he's political, and a little preachy (thankfully never too much to alienate most people, even if you don't agree with him), but most importantly he's fun again. He's snarky, smart, and capable, a description that could fit the book just as well. The book also restores Black Canary more like her earlier depictions, and while she isn't quite where she was before, it's clear that the author intends it to happen as the series progresses. Also like the rest of Rebirth, though, it doesn't totally disregard the new, but it does refine things. There is just a smidgen of Arrowverse Ollie mixed in now, which comes out at times when it feels appropriate. Diggle and Emi (something of an expy of Thea from the tv show) also continue to gain footing as worthy members of the cast. I'm even beginning to feel more than apathy towards Ollie's tech guy now, which I couldn't really say before. Finally, the brand new additions work well too. Two villain groups, the underground people and the Ninth Circle (or the Burned), pop up here, and both are visually interesting and a little repulsive to look at (in a good way). Hopefully, we will see them stick around for future use; Green Arrow does have a tragically small rogues gallery beyond those he borrows from Batman or the Justice League. Last, the art meshes very well with the story. It's very stylized, almost cutesy at times, but it lends itself well to the macabre and unusual elements present here too.
