What dimension is this please?

7.2cms and fine in a bath a bigger version for a shower

I have bought many hair traps for my shower and I always find the hair slides under the trap. Does this happen with this trap?

I have found this brilliant. It seems to trap all the hairs, as the trap is covered when I have washed my hair. I was very sceptical when I purchased, but I highly recommend it.

My sink and bath both have a 4cm diamer hole, with the outer rim increasing total diameter to 7cm, would this fit?

Yes this should fit fine, my pop up waste is also 7cm and it fits a treat. The inner diameter at the base is approx 8.5cm, it tapers off to approx 5cm at the top & is approx 4cm high.

Can this be used in a bathtub with normal plug with chain , obviously removed when showering or do I need another version

I don't have this actual model. The one I have is OXO Good Grips Shower Stall Drain Protector, which I also use as a second sink strainer, which works very well. I also have the smaller diameter version
