I bought this for my 19 month old daughter. She loves splashing in the bathtub, and I needed to provide her more outdoor warm weather activities. This was worth every penny spent! We have only used it once outside so far due to finicky spring weather, but she had to be carried inside away from it after 45 mins of play. Here's a breakdown of the best points: 1) Simplicity - there is something to be said for simple toys. Despite the lack of fancy water wheels or gadgets, she LOVED this table. The point of a water table is for splashing anyways, and this allows lots of ways to do that. 2) Sturdiness - my daughter is 29 lbs and climbed into this twice before I could stop her. It didn't bend, buckle, or in any way act like it wouldn't support her. It doesn't tilt or move when she leans over it trying to reach one of the duckies or whatever else. This was tested both in our living room for dry play (set it up early and keep it indoors so it doesn't walk off outside) and outdoors in our grassy front yard. 3) Lots of splash room - some of the tables only have a small window to stand and actually have room to splash the water. This has a full circle view of the water to splash and play. Perfect for my daughter who barely paid attention to the toys. She only used the spinner and sifter wand thing because they helped her splash and make waves. 4) Lightweight - I am 8 months pregnant and have lift restrictions, so I was worried about how difficult this table would be to lift and move around. I really shouldn't have. It fits through a standard doorway flat and was very lightweight when empty. My daughter pushes it around the living room while it's inside and dry. 5) Perfect height - my daughter is very tall for her age (34 1/2"), so I didn't know how this table would measure on her. It is perfect. It comes right to her waist, which means she doesn't have to bend over to splash unless she wants to. Once she gets taller, I can see her still enjoying this, just kneeling instead of bending over so far. However, it's not so tall that a smaller child wouldn't be able to splash in it too. I bet she could have enjoyed it at 12 months old just as much, but with less bending over room. A few extra notes - the drain plug didn't leak a drop, but it was a pain in the tail to get installed correctly. You have to really push and squeeze to get it all the way down in the hole for a watertight seal. The tree slide has loose "snaps" to hold it in place, but they are not meant to secure it permanently, so any tugging will pull it off. Not really a big deal though. Overall, I am immensely satisfied with buying this.
