Better than first one I tried
I've had my Quest 2 since it was first introduced, back in the dark ages when there were hardly any accessories available. I tried a fan like this then and was extremely underwhelmed, which led me to devise my own system with a pair of USB-powered computer fans.Fast forward to the golden age of the Q2 where we are now. Decided to try this setup. I first bought the Lycra variant. That was "like new" but didn't charge. Just as well - I didn't like the Lycra at all, being used to PU leather. Exchanged for a new one that works properly.I think the secret to this working better is the special face bracket with channels that route the air flow directly down inside the headset. I say "down" because the air flows past your eyes, not into them. Kind of a weird sensation, like cool water flowing past. Definitely prevents fogging and helps it feel less stuffy in there (I still wear a necklace fan so air is coming in from both directions). It's actually very quiet. I don't understand the complaints about noise; maybe I'm just used to noise from my DIY system. The added weight is negligible to me.2-hour battery life seems about right. Just finished a game of Demeo and that finally killed it.Is this going to keep you cool through intense Beat Saber sessions? Probably not noticeably. I actually like the variable setting, if it's on constantly it "fades into the background" and you don't feel it anymore. But for less sweaty games this is definitely worth a shot. Much better than that first fan I tried all those years ago.

So far so good
There aren't many options for facial interfaces with fans that are compatible with the Quest 3S yet. HiBloks seems to be first out of the gate with theirs, and since lens fogging is a big issue for me when using Supernatural in VR I went ahead and purchased even though I've never heard of the brand. So far I'm pleased, though I've only had the device long enough to use it in a couple of workouts. But the facial interface itself is very comfortable, the optional nose piece helps to block out some additional light, and the choice of face pad covers is nice since you can choose between comfort and washability if you need to.Unlike some fans for the Quest 2, this device blows air INTO the headset rather than pulling warm moist air out, and it has fabric covered vents on the bottom for exhaust. I thought that blowing air in would be annoying and cause dry eyes, but so far that hasn't been a problem. It actually kept me cooler than the exhaust style fan on my old Quest 2, and sweat was less likely to run into my eyes. And it reduced lens fogging to zero. The fans themselves (there are two) are reasonably quiet and seem effective.I can't say anything about build quality or longevity of the fan unit because I've only had the product for a couple of days, but so far it's more than lived up to expectations.

Great Cooling for My FrankenQuest 3—While It Lasts!
I added the HiBloks Face Cover Pad with Cooling Fan to my FrankenQuest 3 setup, and while it’s a great concept, it has some drawbacks. The silk cushion is super comfortable, and the fan does an excellent job keeping me cool during intense VR sessions—until the battery dies.Pros:✅ Comfortable Ice Silk Cushion: Feels soft and breathable.✅ Keeps You Cool: Works great for high-intensity games.✅ Quiet Fan: Barely noticeable when running.Cons:❌ Battery Life is Lacking: Doesn’t last long before needing a recharge.❌ Durability Issues: After a couple of months, it only works on high speed.❌ Fragile Around the Nose: I actually cracked the nose section when installing it and had to buy a second interface. Probably more user error than a product flaw, but still something to watch out for.Final Thoughts:In my FrankenQuest 3 setup, this fan pad was a cool addition (literally)—until the battery limitations and fragility kicked in. When it’s running, it makes a huge difference in comfort and lens fog prevention, but the short battery life and delicate nose section hold it back.Great while it lasts—just be gentle when installing! ❄️🔋🎮

Really works - makes gameplay so much more comfortable
Picture is of what's inside the box. Included is the fan, charging cord of good length, face pad, and instructions. It's nicely packaged, and I'll reuse the box. There's only a little bit of plastic and a drying packet to throw away, the rest is paper/recyclable, which I appreciate. Instructions are easy to follow (I didn't need them). The fan has 2 settings. I use the high/high setting, except when my allergies are acting up and my eyes water, and then I turn it down to the high/low setting. This fan really works! When I forget to turn it on, it is so hot and uncomfortable to play. I charge it after each play session. I have never had it run out of battery, I play up to 2 hours at a time. The face mask is comfortable. After months of nearly daily use, I've unstuck it from the velcro and moved it up, and that's taken care of discomfort issues. At this point, I can't imagine playing without this fan.Pros: This works! Keeps me cool, I don't notice noise, is lightweight and comfortable, and charges perfectly.Cons: After months of use, I've had to readjust the mask. I've had to do this with all Quest accessories, so this isn't a big deal.Wish list - I'd like it to turn on automatically when I put the Quest on, and turn off when I take it off. I doubt this is feasible, especially at its reasonable price.
