Rankie DP to DVI Adapter, Gold Plated DisplayPort to DVI Male to Female Converter (Black)

Very handy adapter which just works! I bought a Vega 56 GPU for my PC but it has 3x DP ports and 1x HDMI. My issue was I had a spanking new Dell S2719DGF monitor using DP, but 2 older BenQs with DVI/VGA only... So I bought 2 of these for my BenQ monitors, literally plugged my DVI-DVI cable into the adapter, which then connected straight into the DP ports on my graphics card - monitors come straight on. No messing about at all =)

I bought this DisplayPort to DVI adapter a little while ago and only remembered to review it when I was going through my past orders. Honestly, that’s the best sign of a product doing its job. When something isn’t expensive or essential to daily life, the biggest compliment you can give it is forgetting you even bought it—because it just works without causing any hassle. I plugged it in, it worked straight away, and I haven’t had to think about it since. Exactly what you want from an adapter.

Fantastic product, worked as soon as it was plugged in with no set up required, delivery was quick through amazon prime so really saved me when i was sent the wrong monitors by amazon (or their description was wrong).

The device does what it says in its name: it converts a DisplayPort connection to DVI. If you want to run two monitors using an SLI setup then this converter will work just fine. HOWEVER, if you have monitors that support frame rates ABOVE 60hz (120, 144), then this isn't the product for you. It is only able to support 60hz at 1080p as it is not an 'active' converter. If you want to support frames above 60, then you'll be better off purchasing a DP/DVI cable instead of a converter. For some reason, the only active converters I can find are crazily expensive!

Not to much to say as it's an adapter and not too exciting. :) It does the job it's supposed to, nice build quality and feels solid. Good value, i may buy a couple more as spares to leave in my Laptop bags just in case as i always lose or forget to pack them when travelling.

Does exactly what you would expect, allowing an older DVI monitor to connect to a new display port GPU without issue.

A graphics card upgrade meant that my DVI cable was no longer compatible with the display port connectors on the new graphics card. This offered the best value, and came quickly. It now happily powers my screen at a resolution of 1920x1200@60hz It's literally plug,play and forget.

I guess as they have not asked for it to be returned they are happy with it. Arrived on time

Compré este adaptador para aprovechar el puerto DVI de un monitor que estaba conectado a un ordenador con salida DVI. Como tuvimos que cambiar el ordenador por un HP Compaq dc800 que lleva salida DP (Display Port), pensamos que lo más sencillo, económico y rápido sería comprar este adaptador. El envío con Amazon Premium fue rapidísimo: tramitar el pedido el jueves por la tarde y recibirlo el viernes antes de las 14:00. IM-PRESIONANTE. Tan pronto nos llegó, lo conecté y PERFECTO. Muy contento con esta compra y con este adaptador
