Autosol Metal Polish, 75ml Tube

I’ve been using this polish for over 30 years. I won’t use anything else to polish chrome surfaces. A fantastic product that I would highly recommend. Removes light surface rust & leaves a lovely shine. You don’t need to use too much so a tube this size lasts a while.

I needed something to clean up some second hand nickel plated brass taps. I rang the manufacturer (Lefroy Brooks) and they told me this is what they use in their own workshop (though they use Brasso for a brass finish). They warned me not to get it on the basin itself so I used masking tape to protect it and rubber gloves for my hands. I used a J cloth to apply it and a microfibre cloth to polish it off. The paste is easy to use and goes a long way. The taps came up as good as new after one polish with a few stubborn bits needing a second application. I've now bought a big tub of it to polish up lots of other metalwork around the house.

Great product works well

Oh my good god. Bought this to clean up some Irwin 1M steel clamps as new one cost more than my first car. Only managed one though because, after seeing the results, I just spent two hours going around the house cleaning anything metal. This stuff is magical, and, as the guy on YouTube says, "What in the Harry Potter". This stuff is awesome, easy to rub on and off, and leaves anything metal looking brand new. Fantastic.
